Family Donut

Great little donut shop in the middle of the neighborhood. We were looking for something besides Shipley's, as I'm not a fan (though my wife is). We tried the plain glaze, an apple fritter, a sausage kolache, butterfly, and a sausage croissant -ALL DELICIOUS! Will definitely be coming back to support this local gem.

My husbands go to place for breakfast. Bacon, sausage, egg and cheese croissants are great. The donuts are fresh and toasty. The apple fritters are the bombTastic! Not greasy like some other places. Definitely better than Shipleys.

A friend turned me on to this place years ago and I love coming here! The donuts are amazing they are always hot! The cost is spot on and in my opinion they are better than Shipley's, southern Maid, Krispy Creme, all those! They have amazing Kolaches both Big and small. I don't live in the area any more but it's work the drive and I always stop by when I can!

Best donut place, hands down. Asian owned family business with amazing service. Super kind people.There's a drive -thru if you're ever in a rush as well as a little area with seating. The place is really quiet, and hopefully after this review I hope it's a bit busier!I tried a sugared cinnamon twist (they have glazed as well) with a ham 'n cheese kolache. The cinnamon twist had so many fluffy layers, and the perfect amount of sugar to cinnamon ratio. 10/10 would eat again. The ham 'n cheese kolache was DELICIOUS. It had the perfect amount of bread to ham 'n cheese. It was pretty small, so I recommend getting 2-3 kolaches depending on how hungry you are. I actually took a picture of this one before I devoured it.Family Donut needs more exposure and I hope this will bring it to them. I look forward to coming here more often and reviewing their other menu items!

I would give this place 5 stars, but I was there on Wednesday and from my car I saw the lady handling the drive through coughing without covering her cough. She faced the kolaches and the donut display as she coughed. I hope management will address this. My mouth dropped, not sure if the donut display case has a back cover. I may attempt to give this place a try in a few months. Ask for kolaches from the back of the tray!

This place is a gem. They only take cash so make sure you go to an ATM before going. The donuts are always light and fluffy and the cinnamon twist are full of cinnamon and glaze. The kolaches are big and flavorful. I go to this shop at least 2-3 times a week to get my fix of sweet and savory treats.

I enjoyed it! I tried it a few weeks ago before the Coronavirus blew through. We tried the kolaches and apple fritter and it was delicious. The prices are awesome! Just make sure you bring cash.
