Family Deli

This Deli has a surprisingly great variety of options for a small, independently-owned business. I ordered Carne Asade Fries with a Perrier Sparkling Water. My food was ready in 10ish minutes, which is perfectly fine since they gave a large serving with tons of dressing & sauces. Plus the view of Waterfront Park from here is quite remarkable and it was nice seeing many families & kids walk by & play here creates a warm ambience, so I didn't mind the wait. The cashier seemed to have a couple of her daughters or nieces nearby so she could look after them, which was also heartwarming to see and didn't really distract her from her duties. This Deli is in a very convenient spot & they even have Tums & Aspirin for sale. It's worth stopping by here regardless if you plan to swing by Waterfront Park.

The Family Deli is good, good, good. I picked up a Breakfast Bagel with ham, eggs, and cheese, not to mention the blazing tasty hot sauce I put on it. I choose a sesame bagel and it cost $5. Very good price for the area.The sandwich came handsomely loaded with the eggs and ham. They use American cheese so it melted quite easily. I would like to see them offer different cheeses, but I understand if they don't to keep overhead low and to offer good prices to the public.The eggs were fluffy but I would add a touch of more salt and black pepper, but then again that's just the way I roll with my eggs. The sesame bagel was warmed up, so it was soft and warm. It was a very good breakfast sandwich. The offer a melee of sandwiches, salad, and even burritos. On some days they even make beef birria. Check with them to find out what days because I unfortunately forgot. Sorry..

The bread was hard on my bacon egg and cheese. Half of the things on their menu the we're out of. The coffee tasted as if it had been brewed front he night before and the wrap was tasteless. My eggs had a hint of green, but yet had no veggies to turn it this color. I normally never give small business a bad review but seriously family deli needs to step their game up, especially given the prices they charge for tasteless food.

Check your receipt. $8.61 receipt but charged $9.20. If there is a credit card charge that should also be on the receipt.

I was at the Waterfront Park for business and had time to spare for lunch so instead of leaving the area into expensive af Little Italy I stopped at the conveniently located Family Deli to support a local small shop. I've eaten here a few times before as well. They have a veggie burrito which is really simple but man is it good! I also like the bean and cheese they have there. No frills or anything of that nature but its honest food at a reasonable price. Give them a try, support a local business.

I was given a muffin with mold on it. I didn't realized it when I first got it and starting eating it and I saw the small specs of mold. They were nice about it and give me my money back but still kinda gross. The hot chocolate was good though.

Cute little deli right on the park. Sandwiches are big and include a side salad for a very good price. Highly recommend!!

Sorry, but the service is way too slow for the pricing and quality of food. Better off going someplace else for a bite. Drinks are fine.

I already left a review a couple weeks ago but I just had to come back and leave another one. I have been going here about once or twice a week for lunch on my break, every single time they are the nicest people ever. I recently learned they are a small family business and it made me want to support them even more. I went to grab something for lunch today and their card machine was down and was only accepting cash at the moment, which I didn't have any on me, but he was so incredibly kind and insistent that I order and just come back later to pay. If you haven't already checked this place out, please try it out.

Nice place to grab breakfast and snacks, close to the playground. I ordered a turkey wrap and a breakfast sandwich. They are fresh and delicious
