This has been my go to spot for years for great catfish, oxtails, beans and rice and sweet potatoes! They have a lot of other options as well but those are my faves! You may have a little bit of a wait if you buying made to order food but it's well worth it. I only wish they were open on Sunday and stayed open longer!

Ordered this on Uber Eats , it's always hard ordering soul food when u can cook yourself very well , I ordered the catfish , yams an Mac an cheese , baked chicken an red beans n rice . The catfish was OK not fried hard enough the yams were canned an not flavored as yams at all , Mac an cheese was boxed Mac an cheese not homemade at all . The baked chicken. Was dry but ok to eat along with the red beans an rice but they don't put any effort into this food . Another restaurant in business for the money no one serves boxed Mac an cheese at a soul food restaurant or canned yams come on now .

Ordered shrimp and veggies on uber eats and I was surprisingly pleased with the flavor. The food arrived hot and it was delicious. Even if it didn't, it was seasoned well enough to eat cold. I'm not sure what motivates some people to write negative reviews about minor things that should be expected when you order delivery, but give the place a shot. I enjoyed and I'm a very picky foodie.

I love the food A LOT! A whole lot! Problem I'm having is being able to confirm when they're open. Like today (Saturday) for instance. I know that their Nolensville Pike location is closed, so I've been calling to confirm if the Nashville location is open and no one is answering the phone. This has happened on more than one occasion and I done want to drive all the way over there if they're not open. Love the food, but need to be able to be in touch. Please update the Facebook page at least. .

Manee!! Y'all this food was sooo good! From the portion sizes to the prices to the authenticity to the quality!! Whew. The staff is lovely and Mrs. Lyn was especially sweet. They were out of cabbage... not a problem, she kindly replaced that one side with two sides for the inconvenience! Everythang was fresh and seasoned perfectly!
