Our server was amazing, the drinks were perfect, it was a little louder than other Tiki bars we've been too but that was mostly the people standing at the bar area. This place has amazing mugs to purchase also and the coolest matchbooks I've ever seen. I bought a lot of stuff this trip and the matchbooks are my favorite thing I'm taking home, go figure...will be back next time we're in San Diego. Reservations highly recommended.

Funky little place situated beside a restaurant, the glowing skulls in the doorway were a great start. We love the ambience, and the theme. The drinks were not outstanding, but it certainly didn't stop us from finishing them. For example, the Painkiller there was not the same caliber as we found in the islands. Worth a visit, you can decide if it becomes a regular place for you.

The decor was great, the drinks were decent. It's hard to talk or hear because it's so loud.It was a nice experience but I am not too sure I'll be returning. I feel like I saw everything and got what I needed out of this place with the first visit.

A fun, cute bar in the back of a restaurant. Definitely gives underground tiki pirate ship vibes. It's pretty crowded and loud in there, especially if it's a birthday and they crack the thunder (woohoo!), so not exactly the best place if you want to have a deep conversation with someone. Our favorite drink was the ube cocktail--super Ube potent and delicious!

My friend and I went the other night and Crizel at the front was just so sweet and welcoming. She recommended the best drinks and even told us about the bomb food next door. Ellie our server was super attentive and friendly!!! Atmosphere in there was cute and chill we definitely will be back.

I was told by Phoenix tiki bartenders that this was THE tiki spot in SD. So I had to visit, and they were right. It feels like a grotto, cave, and cove all in one. On a Saturday night it was packed, so highly recommend reservations. I was a walk in and was told standing room only until someone leaves the bar which I got lucky and they did.The Macadamia Chi Chi is where it's at! Loved it! So good. The Ube Bae on the other hand could have been better balanced. To get to this tiki speakeasy go to Craft & Commerce, then go through the tiki curtain, you'll see red glowing skulls and finally you're in.

Strolling through LI and our friends exclaim..we gotta hit this joint!Got right in but no table was immediately available, so we ordered drinks and took in the scenery until one opened up. Rather dark and mysterious, and a weather event was party of the experience. Drinks are tropical turned, but beware, they are strong!Ambiance is tiki mysterio, service was friendly and prompt, and prices are what you would expect in tourist district. We might not come on our own, but we might bring traveling friends to this party!

A totally solid tiki bar. It's sort of a speakeasy but it doesn't feel all that hidden. But that doesn't really detract from its charm and the drinks are good.

Sis and I swung over for a night cap and it was an awesome experience. Crizel walked us in and promptly let us know that the tables were full but she'd keep an eye on an open table. After getting a rundown of the atmosphere and menu, we had our orders taken very quickly and had a table by the time our drinks arrived! The ambiance in here is stellar for a tiki style and it's much more playful than I anticipated. Crizel's recommendation's were top notch and if you enjoy gin, the Saturn is the way to go!
