Falcon's Handcrafted Sandwiches

The sandwiches here are delicious! My friends and I ordered a larger order that included several wraps, sandwiches, and even a hamburger. I really personally liked the Buffalo chicken wrap. I found the veggie sandwich to be a bit soggy. Overall everyone seemed to like the food though which was great. The younger male who had me pay at the counter didn't seem to be very talkative or friendly, but it was earlier on a Saturday when no one was there yet. The lady who brought me my food from the back was friendly though! Would recommend to others!

I would like to give a special recognition to the owner Yolanda. This young lady was amazing. I truly appreciate how she resolved the situation. Yolanda demonstrated the sincerity and compassion when assisting myself. Falcons give you a family vibe a spot where you can come in away from the heat and have a cold glass of freshly squeezed lemonade, or a cool cup of Gelato. This restaurant has a vast amount of sandwiches from burgers,paninis, wraps soups, salads, baked goods, etc Falcons exceeded my expectations and the service from Yolanda was superb. I will be back to try the other items on the menu and bring friends with me. Good Eats

We've collectively been sleeping on this place. It's amazing. My family went there for dinner the other night, and everything we had was sensational.If you want fancy ambience, go elsewhere, but this is sort of on the Kuma's Corner vibe (without the metal) in that it's not a fancy place, but the food is unusually good.

I was craving a burger and hear many good things about Falcon's from neighbors. I called for takeout on a Sunday evening and had an overall good experience. There is metered parking around the restaurant and it seems fairly easy to find a spot. Ordering was a breeze and the staff working were very pleasant to interact with. I thought the chalkboard behind the counter was a cute touch. You can see it from any seat in the restaurant. One thing I was amazed by was that even after a 15 minute walk back to my place, my order remained HOT. Very impressive given most takeout usually loses warmth the second you leave! The food is definitely tastes like that local diner food a chain can't replicate. Only thing I wouldn't order again is the mozzarella sticks. One was crushed at the bottom and was slightly disappointing to only get four for $8. Definitely not $2 a stick worthy. They almost tasted freezer burnt with a sweetness that mozzarella sticks shouldn't have. The burger was fantastic! So were the fries! Here is where I felt I got a great bang for my buck. The burger and the toppings were generously sized and tasty. I agree with others who said that you get a lot of fries and there were fries to save for leftovers. No complaints here! Definitely will be ordering from here again and can't wait to check out the breakfast side of the menu!

We came here on a Saturday after the gym for lunch. From the outside, Falcon's is not much and you could walk past it without looking, inside it is a big classic sandwich shop with an old mom and pop feel to it. There are several booths and tables with checkered tablecloths. We found a booth away from the door. I ordered food from here once, but I have never been inside until today. A waitress came over and gave us some menus and then a bottle of water and plastic cups. The menu is not not huge but there are sandwiches, burgers, pasta, soup and salads. They have vegetarian options. I ordered a veggie burger and my partner ordered a cheese burger. We just drank water. Our food came out in a about 10 minutes. They both looked good. The burgers had a big steak knife stuck in the middle. I guess to keep it from falling apart, it worked. My veggie burger was pretty good. I don't think the veggie burger was house maid but it was good even if it was house bought. The fries looked fresh cut but I can't swear they were. My partner liked his burger as well. Overall good service, above average food and the atmosphere was ok for a sandwich shop / burger joint. We will return.

Add my wife and me to the list of people who had great food and a great dining experience at Falcon's. We stopped on a Wednesday early evening prior to taking the train to Ravinia. There were just a couple other tables occupied. The hostess met us and showed us to a table. The restaurant is not fancy but is bright and nicely decorated. We split the salmon pasta dish and a Caesar salad. Both were excellent. The lettuce on the salad was crisp and fresh with a very tasty dressing. And the pasta (which the waitress split onto two plates for us) had a good sized piece of salmon and a nice garlic oil on the noodles. The price was also very reasonable.We'll be back!

By the outside, Falcon's Handcrafted Sandwiches is so unpretentious. You wouldn't even know it's there unless you walk by it. Total low key, casual and food is very good. Aside from handcrafted sandwiches, they also offer salads, pasta and other items on menu. Speaking of menu, it's pretty balanced in terms of choices they offer. I believe there's something for everyone. Service is friendly and polite. Ambiance is nice too, music plays in background at a low volume, spacious and clean. While I was there, I noticed there are a lot of "orders to go", people coming in to pick their orders, which makes sense for those business in the area and many people working from home. Overall, I recommend for a good quick lunch or meet up with friends. There's street parking and several bus route near by. Oh, did I mentioned they are BYOB? Yes! Another good quality to keep in mind.

Very tasty Turkey Wrap, and some of the best fries I've had in a while. Plenty of tempting choices on their menu.

Really excellent!!!!!! Easily one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had (I got the Dirty). The truffle parm fries were also out of this world. Generous portions too!
