I tried the falafel sandwich and knafah during my first visit for lunch. It was so good, I ended up taking home a shawarma bowl to try for dinner.I'm so glad I did try it too. I loved the flavors of everything I tried here. Also, awesome staff and great service.

I'll get right to the point. The food here is five star! The service was also very good. My only reason for not giving five stars all around is the ambiance. The place is tiny. They have maybe three tables inside and three outside. There is no bathroom. Parking in north park is a hassle. We chose to eat outside as it was a bit warm inside. There was a foul smell outside and tons of flies. This is a place where you are best off getting the yummy food to go!We ordered two chicken schwarma bowls- one regular and another spicy. The hummus, chicken and veggies were all delicious and filling. The garlic sauce was a tad pungent for me. Pita bread was just ok. Prices are very reasonable! This is an excellent takeout option.

Small hole-in-the-wall spot with limited seating inside, we ordered our food and waited about 15 minutes for it to all be ready. We noticed there were a good amount of takeout orders during our wait. Both the Chicken Shawarma Wrap and the Falafel Wrap and our friends also got a side order of fries. Both wraps were pretty good and the Chicken Shawarma had a strong curry flavor to it. I didn't get as much freshness/punch from the veggies which made it a bit more balanced. Also, they provide a side of (tahini?) dipping sauce and the amount they give you isn't that much. I do feel that for $15 a wrap, it's not the most filling and so they could have added more into it. The fries were honestly not great. They were super overcooked/well done and it was more like eating a chip than a fry. But the stars of the show are the wraps and so definitely get one of those if you plan on coming to Falafel Heights.

FALAFEL'ING(3.8 stars)Taking falafels to new heights and setting the standards. Welcome to NP! - FOOD: good- SERVICE: good- PRICE: fair- AMBIANCE: cute little box I admit, I don't recall ever eating a falafel in my lifetime OR I might have but they weren't memorable. Resetting the unsure experience with a fresh slate and letting Falafel Heights set my standards! This place was perfect for a healthy bite to kill time between after my gym session and before my tennis games. Healthy bites!:: ORDER ::MINT LEMONADE ($8) - SO refreshing. Very minty and lemony. I am a lemonade lover and a fan of this one. The lemonade wasn't thin and clear (not watered down) but more clouded and flavorful. Mint offset the tart with a refreshing herbal element. Great thirst quencher but also feel the price is a bit high for what you get. Not sure how I can justify $8 for lemonade because I can't. The drink itself was more than the side of falafels. HIGHLY RECOMMENDSIDE OF FALAFELS ($7) - deep fried balls, gluten free! Made from scratch, the falafel is composed of dry garbanzo beans hydrated overnight then blended with spices and fresh ingredients what did it taste like to me? If you are craving something crunchy but light, a falafel would suffice the craving! The outer layer had a nice crunch and inside was soft and mildly 'savory' from the herbs and spices. I was surprised how light and tasty they were, kind of reminded me of an 'herbal donut hole'. Even better when dipped in sauce. HIGHLY RECOMMENDSIDE SAUCE ($2.00) - Pricy for a small dabble of sauce. Actually kind of pricy for sauce in general. There were about 8 different sauces to chose from and I wish I got to sample or know more about the sauces before I chose but I played it safe and went with what I know is familiar and ordered TAHINI. Nothing special about it just regular Tahini. I'll need to comeback and try another. But I can't get over the $2 for any (1) sauce which should be included and they should only charge if asking for extra. Will have to come back and try another item on the menu but not in a rush. Until the next review...

Outstanding falafel at this tiny spot, so fresh so crispy, so soft and delicious. Coated in salt and sumac. Phenomenal dipped in mango amba or garlic sauce. The chicken shawarma was great too but the falafel are what dreams are made of.

The food is consistently outstanding here, but what truly sets Falafel Heights apart is the warm and attentive service. Leiali, the owner, is such a kind and genuine person. Her dedication to connecting with her customers and making each visit special is evident and truly enhances the overall dining experience. I hope this gem becomes a cherished staple in North Park.

I love that this place is independently owned. Been wanting to try this restaurant as we love falafels! The menu is simple and straightforward. The place is small but they have 3 tables inside and 3 outside. Below is what I ordered and I got it to go. Falafel platter - we got 9 pieces in the order they are a bit smaller in size. They were very moist and yummy. You choose between cucumber salad or pita and I chose the cucumber salad. The salad was fresh though a little bland. You get to choose 3 sauces. I chose garlic, spicy hummus and tahini. They were all good. The overall price seemed a bit high for what you get. Chx shawarma- I got it "spicy". It was good. It was fresh and the chx was flavorful and tender. The salad that was inside it gave it a nice crunch as well. Beef shawarma- it was a bit greasy and the beef was a bit over seasoned and salty for my taste. My husband liked this one the best though. Glad we tried it. Love supporting local businesses!

I have visited Falafel a few times now and have never been disappointed. They cater to my garlic allergies which I appreciate. The interior is quaint and cute and the mural outside is very well done. The employees are always friendly and patient.

Really good falafel. The tahini and flavors in the half chicken half falafel wrap were great, but I do have complaints...There was almost no chicken in it. A few little pieces.I asked for extra pickles and compared to my husband's it didn't seem like extra.I also asked for no onions but had to pull several out from half my wrap. The box even said no onion extra pickles on it My husband got the 50/50 wrap as well, no modifications and he also barely had any chicken... he complained about not enough falafel either... which I understand. Also the bread needs work... it isn't heated up and the way they wrap these things makes it messy... easy to fall apart and hard to eat. Also pretty pricey for the kinda small size.Would come back to try a bowl or loaded fries though.

It's close to where I live, but I wasn't crazy impressed with it overall. The falafels were fairly small and mine were pretty dry. The traditional hummus we got had zero flavor to it. The amount they gave was decent for the price, so I was happy about that. My friend got their Falafel 50/50 Bowl and didn't like it. They said the dressing was too sweet and there was too much of it.
