Found this little gem of a family owned Mexican food restaurant in Glendale. We are always looking for new and exciting place's to eat good food. My wife loves menudo and this place had other great reviews so we took it for a ride around the block, kicked the tires and gave it a good test drive.I ordered the machaca and scrambled eggs and this plate has very good flavor, I enjoyed it very much. My wife had the menudo and while it was not her favorite that she had in our journey to find the best she said is was very good. The refried beans were good as well. I only drink tea and to my surprise they serve Sun Tea and was probably the best tea I have had. My wife said the coffee was very good as well. Overall so far, a very good experience for us and we will revisit in the near future.

Worse service ever!! Been here since 9am and ordered and still waiting for food!!! Fan light shining in my face and can't even see anything. Had to ask for silverware... Never again. Can't tell you how good food is because I'm still waiting for it. It's currently 1042am. There's barely anyone in here.. Don't come here if you're hungry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This app won't let me post 0 stars!

The restaurant doesn't look like much from outside seems like a house definitely a hole in the wall restaurant heard about this place by word of mouth.. heard the menudo was amazing so I had to try it for my self and sure did not let down they pack the bowl full of grain and meat then the lightly toasted bread with butter choice of tortilla or bread def pick the bread I come here every Sunday now since I've been here can't get it better anywhere else

This is such a cute restaurant in a neighborhood off 59th and Glendale! Family owned and operated as well. Quick service, friendly staff, and great food! I love beans that are just a bit runnier so you can dip your tortilla or spread on your food. This place has them! Everything is homemade and you can taste the homemade tortillas! They have Albondigas on Saturday and Menudo on Sunday! The chorizo, egg, and potatoes was awesome! However I could have had 3 of the guacamole tostadas.

This restaurant is located in one of the most unique places I've ever been. You will see when you go there but it is worth the search! Also, here is something even trickier....most nights they end up closing by 6pm! Because of our family's schedules we managed to get there around 5:30 and they were happy to have us sit down.This is a pretty cozy spot but it wasn't very busy when we arrived. Service is great and food is super delicious! We will definitely have to come here again but we just have to find the time to get there before they close.

I've been meaning to try this place for ever. Today was the day, I ordered from Grubhub. I am very disappointed....the nachos was blah. The chicken is not well seasoned, just tasteless. I also ordered a chicken enchilada. Not fan at all.

Food - Good / not a big variety just basics BUT menudo is GREAT & they make white & redService - is ok / depends on how many people are being served/ some times a little slow Ambiance - it's a house being used as a restaurant so don't expect a lot / staff is very nice / this place has been around for years serving good meals

I was so excited to try this place because of the ratings. Don't always listen to the ratings... The place could use some cleaning. They have plenty of employees just standing their on their phones doing nothing. The food was not worth the price. The food is not the best...Save your money!
