My go to place whenever I'm in North park, they are kid friendly. Great prices for drinks and food. Bartenders and staff are very nice and friendly. Lots of tables to sit down and enjoy your time here. The food is delicious! Good music and TV shows/games playing in the background. A nice atmosphere Located on 4026 30th street, San Diego, CA 92104 FYI parking is very hard to find.

Ambiance- go-to for sports events. TVs for days and they stay on top of it to play all the sports. Open air, plenty of seating and I LOVE that there are 2 bar stations to order from. Relieves all the congestion and time waiting at a random spot at the bar! Service- top notch! I for sure revisit for a reason! Everyone behind the bar is so friendly and amazing! Huge thank you to the whole Fairplay crew! At any hour, any day, they always deliver and make my day with a welcoming hello!!Food- typical bar food, and it's heavy. missing the #1- chicken tenders. PLEASE bring back the real warm grilled chicken breast on top the Caesar salad vs the now shredded Costco chicken tossed in. Maybe a lighter app option to balance- like chips and guac- lettuce wraps-cauliflower -Brussels- to counter balance the meat!

Casual and always busy sports bar in North Park. They often put the tv sports schedule on their Instagram, so check there - but they're great about playing a variety of sports. Can take awhile to get a drink since they only have a couple bar stations, so next to double your order. Some outdoor seating in a covered patio. Their menu is normal bar food, but done well and satisfies. Again, can be a bit slow to get so order early.

The best sports bar! This bar is our go to spot to watch soccer games. The staff is amazing and has ALWAYS been extremely kind. I love how they also offer food and cocktails on top of a huge beer menu. I ordered the espresso martini on my last visit, and it was extremely rich! Definitely woke me up. I'll be back! I'd recommend checking their instagram to see if they're running any specials. See you soon, FairPlay!

Pretty casual, easy sports bar in North Park with a variety of brews and yummy eats to offer. Fairplay has a pretty huge space, with lots of bar seating, group tables, and high chairs available. In my experience, it is not hard whatsoever to find a spot - making this a great place to meet some friends for a quick chat or snack. Service was also pretty speedy in my opinion.I had stopped by for a beer and a snack, opting for the animal fries. Do not underestimate their portions - they're probably perfect for sharing with a group. I was by myself and was astonished at how much fries I was served! The fries were steaming fresh and were cooked to a crisp. The thousand islands and onions paired really good, much better than In N Out! One comment I'd make next time is to tone it down on the cheese, it felt like my plate was more drenched in cheese rather than an equal amount with the thousand islands.

On our way to Coin-Op, we decided to grab some food. You order at the bar and pick up at the window. There is a condiment station so you have a wide variety of sauces to choose from. It's a sports bar, so there are always games on. The burger was amazing. The patty was flavorful and filling. I went with the single patty and it was the right choice. Definitely happy we stopped and grabbed a bit.

stopped by this bar as it was local to my buddy's friend's place. the vibe is very chill with plenty of TVs showcasing the game of the night or event. we started our night at this bar, but can say that the cocktails and beer on draft were good with lots of varieties to choose from. i opted for a Japanese yuzu beer, which was refreshing and light. definitely a great spot to start up your bar hopping in the area.

Met up with some friends here to catch the end of the hockey match. The building is very open in the front, letting in the cool air and allowing for prime people watching. Lots of TVs and cool decor. Pretty good selection of NA beer (more than one, which is better than a lot of places). The nature of a sports bar is very loud though, so be prepared!

I was at this place, this past Saturday yeesh it was so pack due to a Soccer game, we left for a bit and came back after the game, we took a big chunk of this place since it was 14 of us, we had a great time, beer is moderate and they do have a full open bar yummy. we sat in the back patio for a few minutes but decided indoors is better facing outside walkers and its kid friendly they had a blast with the games they have at the corner, thank you for that. lol. service is good and everyone enjoyed it.

Fairplay is a solid go-to bar in North Park, whether it's to watch a game, get a bite, or just have a drink with friends. Lots of TVs, lots of space, and often lots of people, you really can't go too wrong here. I really need to try more of the menu, but their burgers are really solid, and they make a pretty decent old fashioned. Also, the staff is usually pretty nice. To be honest, I don't know why I don't go there more often.I guess my biggest gripes are that there are no menus nor table service, which seems weird for a place this size. As for menus, I really feel like the QR code menu is a pandemic relic that needs to die. We go to restaurants and bars typically to be social, and forcing our attention to our phones is antithetical to the activity. Plus, it's just plain annoying. Print out a few pieces of paper for us, please! As for table service, I've only sat at the bar, so the lack of table service hasn't been an issue personally, but I think the constant getting up and down for every bit of food and drink would get a bit annoying and, again, take away from the social aspect of going out.In spite of these gripes, Fairplay is a really good spot to grab a bite or a drink and watch and game or hang out. It's definitely been a nice addition to the North Park scene.
