Ezell's Famous Chicken

I Tried this chicken along time ago and didnt like it. I was craving chicken and happened to be close by so I thought I would give it another try. I am glad I did. Yesterday I ordered dark meat (spicy) and it was juicy and delicious. The fry coating was yummy and I loved that the chicken leg had so much meat. Mashed potatoes were good but cajun fries were terrible. They were over-flavored and salty and I had to toss them. I will definitely be coming back here for the dark meat chicken.This review is a 3.5 star review based on the chicken alone. the biscuit and fries were nowhere as good as Popeyes, but the chicken is worth driving for. I also thought the employees seemed very hardworking, professional and nice. Even though this is way off-topic, people like Ruby make me very optimistic about humanity and the people I live around in Woodinville/Kirkland.

Another great experience at Ezell's. I stopped by the other day to pick up some tenders and rolls. The service was fantastic--the staff were very friendly and cheerful. The food was ready in just a few minutes. It's a small restaurant, primarily for takeout, and I loved it.

I used to order lunch from this location occasionally and I always enjoyed my meal. My schedule changed so I haven't been in for close to a year. I ordered yesterday and the friendly guy who I assume is the manager instantly recognized me. I really like the food, but that personal touch is really appreciated & what led me to want to leave a good review.

Got the spicy dark meat combo meal. The chicken was a bit dry, and the crust was quite hard instead of crispy.The roll, potatoes, and mac n cheese were just ok. Pie was also just ok.Not better than Churches, Popeyes, or KFC. Safeway is a better deal as well and Safeway tends to be more freshly on the spot fried.All depends on what you like in your fried chicken. The service was very friendly and pleasant, so I appreciate that. Parking was easy in this strip mall.

Tried this for the first time tonight, good service but the chicken in the four piece meal original was pretty bland and some of it was pretty dry. The sides of mash potatoes and mac n cheese was just okay, bread was the best part. I wouldn't buy it again and prefer the flavor of popeyes more. Even safe-way considering the price.

Quick and friendly service, this time just stop in for a quick bite, the 3 spicy chicken strips, slaw and biscuit. definitely more fried goodness to try on the menu, the fried okra definitely has my interest piqued. The spicy strips had a mild spiciness and fried to a good crispness without losing the flavor of the chicken. Their hot sauce is basically buffalo sauce, not bad, but definitely not hot. The slaw was good, crispy fresh cabbage, good flavored slaw dressing, and a good size for a side. Biscuit was fresh with a slight cornbread flavor. Friendly and courteous staff, greet you as you come in and as you go. Good for a quick fried chicken fix, looking forward to trying more menu. Yelping on, God bless and Cheers!

The food itself was great, but what made my meal is wonderful marciello the guy working there. So driven to provide the best experience, I really appreciated his service and the fact he actually cares about the customer. Will come back, thank you sir!

This Ezell's is located in a tiny strip mall next to Woodinville center, which is pretty convenient hence only minutes drive from my place. I want to share my feelings related to this subject. Fried chicken tasted pretty good , made of original southern style comfort food, places like Krispy krunch&Popeyes can't compare. They offer 4 piece tenders and wings for a little than $12 , also comes with roll, potatoes or mac n cheese as a side. Happy stomach.The employees are very friendly, they know how to satisfy customers and thanks to their effort, this place continued to thrive. So shout out to hardworking people. Keep growing Ezell's! You deserve my compliment.

Went to Ezell's 06/20/2024 for the first time. I was visiting the area from Las Vegas. The staff were polite and really friendly. I wish we had a place like this in the Vegas area. The chicken was hot and fresh. The sides are amazing. Had mac and cheese, tastes like the mac and cheese I grew up with on the east coast. The winner for me was the sweet potato pie. I have not had sweet potato pie this good since ever moving from back home. I'll make sure I go back anytime I'm in the area from now on.

My daughter requested chicken strips for her birthday party so we humored the request by looking for options. I was actually quite impressed with how affordable Ezells was for an incredible kids party meal. 6 pounds of chicken strips fed 15 hungry kids and their parents. This cost us a little over $100. Nothing was wasted. I know you can get pizzas for less but is the quality as good? "Not so much" says my experience. Our guests were thrilled..... One family even went straight back to Ezells after the party for dinner! We will definitely look at Ezells as a catering option in the future.
