Kid-friendly KBBQ. We're big fans of restaurants that make it easier to bring our kids. The staff at Exit 5 are always super welcoming and accommodating during our visits. Kid friendly plates and silverware? Got it. Extra napkins? No problem. More fish cake banchan because that's your daughter's fave? Coming right up! The place is huge with tons of large party tables so we never feel like the kids are all over a tiny space or making too much noise. It's great and the food is delicious. They've also got Korean ice creams next the front. Yum!

When I went here first time a few years ago it was quite busy and wait was close to an hour. Just revisited recently during weekday and there was no wait, so that's good news. The place itself is big and ventilation is good so it didn't smell - even after dinner.Service was good and fast and frequent refill on banchan - in fact they even have a cart going around to refill it.We decided to go with mixed meat platter - the beef short rib was the best but brisket and pork belly was good too. We had enough food for two to take the pork neck to go. Overall it wasn't bad pricing for kbbq but of course it wasn't cheap. Food quality, Service and restaurant ambience did support the price.

Our party ordered meat ala carte since we mainly wanted the brisket and pork belly. We also got a kimchi pancake and steamed egg for appetizers. The brisket and pork belly were delicious! I feel like you can't go wrong with those two meats when it comes to kbbq. The brisket was thin and tender and the pork belly was thick and juicy. The kimchi pancake had a nice crisp to it and the steamed egg is what you expect it to taste like. The portion size was not too bad because with those two orders of meat it filled us up along with the appetizers, rice and banchan. We were full but not overly stuffed but that's ok since we were saving room for dessert afterwards. The service was great! They always checked up on us and kept asking if we wanted refills for the banchan. The restaurant is pretty big inside and has a chill vibe to it. I would come here again!

For my sister's 21st birthday, my family and I recently dined at Exit 5, a Korean BBQ gem nestled at the Landing in Renton, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. We come here often so it's nice that the owner of this establishment recognizes us!Let's talk about the star of the show - the meat. Oh my goodness, it was mouthwateringly delicious! From perfectly marinated bulgogi to succulent slices of chicken thigh, every bite was a flavor explosion. The quality of the meat was top-notch, and the grilling experience at our table added an extra layer of fun to our meal. Now, onto the side dishes - they were simply divine. The banchan spread was generous and varied, featuring classics like kimchi and pickled vegetables, each bursting with authentic Korean flavors. The freshness and attention to detail in these small dishes truly elevated the entire dining experience.I cannot go without mentioning the stellar customer service we received throughout our visit. The staff at Exit 5 went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from promptly refilling our drinks, to the nice birthday surprise and frequently changing our grill. Their friendly demeanor and attentiveness added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal.Exit 5 is a must-visit for any KBBQ enthusiast in the Renton area. With delectable meat, mouthwatering side dishes, and excellent customer service, this restaurant truly delivers a memorable dining experience.

Exit 5 Korean BBQ is my jam when it comes to KBBQ in the Seattle area, mainly because their cold noodles are the bomb dot com. You can find it right off exit 5 from I-405, hence the clever name. Parking's a breeze, whether you're into street parking or hitting up the free lot. Plus, there's loads to do around the area. The joint itself is pretty spacious, with enough tables to go around, but if you're not keen on waiting, weekdays are your best bet. We cruised in on a chill Monday night and snagged a table pronto. Inside, it's like stepping into a scene from a K-drama, complete with the tunes and posters. The staff's friendly, although they might hustle a bit too much. Our server took charge of the grill, which kinda rushed the vibe. I'm more about taking my sweet time flipping those meats. Speaking of which, the portions were a tad small, especially in the mixed combo, and the beef was nothing to write home about. We also dug into some seafood pancake, steamed egg, and, of course, those legendary cold noodles. Pancake and egg were decent, but those cold noodles were next level, with their refreshing soup base stealing the show. Plus, gotta love the freebies like the house salad and refillable side dishes. But here's the kicker: the ssam option felt a bit overpriced for what you get. Eight bucks for a smear of paste and a mountain of veggies? Ehh, pass. Even with our crew of four, we left feeling like we could've eaten more, especially noticing the smaller portions compared to our last visit. All in all, Exit 5 Korean BBQ still brings the flavor, especially with those cold noodles, but if you're all about that meat life, you might wanna scope out some other spots in the same price range.

Finally a decent KBBQ in the Renton area :) Located at The Landing, Exit 5 is a pretty solid spot to hit up if you're craving for some yummy KBBQ.While this is not an All You Can Eat, portion size combos are pretty generous! For my small group (4 of us), we were ok hungry (not starving) and a small mix combo was just the right amount of meat + 3 side orders to keep us all full. Meat quality: Pretty good! Marinated beef was very tasty and the cuts of the meat wasn't too fatty. Overall, definitely all of the options we had. Corn cheese: Very yum! Perfect cheese pull and the flavoring was great. Seafood pancake: Super crispy and filled to the brim with seafood. Definitely one of my favorite dishes for the evening. Side dishes/ban chan: Yummy! Generous portions/refills too :) Love the potatoes and spicy kimchi the most Service: had several different people checking in with my group and all were so friendly!! Interior: love the coziness of the place. It's a pretty big restaurant and Exit 5 did a nice job on the decor Reservations: Not available on the weekends it seems. Hands down would recommend this spot to anyone. :)

Exit 5 is one of the few good Korean bbq places in the Seattle area. The meat quality is really good and the sides are so yummy and unlimited. The service is also very quick and the workers are really nice. Their ventilation system works pretty well so you don't smell like smoke after. It's not AYCE but it definitely makes up for it in quality!

Four of us were celebrating my Dad's birthday at dinner time this last weekend. He was late and each staff member that passed us tended to us, asking if we wanted a drink or appetizer while we were waiting, always with a smile. Once we received our order, we were lucky to experience fantastic meat, chicken and fish options, all even better with each dipping sauce and salted sesame oil! Any time a plate was empty or a drink was low, staff was there to replace or refill it. And our personal grill was replaced six or seven times in order for our food to come out perfectly cooked. We were even graced with the owner's time and attention. We sure look forward to our next visit!Angela Antonelli, Renton
