Evergreen Donuts

On approaching Evergreen Donuts northbound this morning, Tuesday 23 May 2023, I found construction-related obstacles in the lane where I was supposed to turn in from the main road. Instead, I took the back entrance in to the parking area that went past a few hotels. The lot is shared by the different businesses in the strip and was abundant when I arrived around 10:10 a.m. and parked.The store front is well labeled and easy to spot. Donuts and lumpia are on display inside the entrance towards the wall opposite the entrance door. I got one each of the maple bacon jalapeño bar and plain cake donuts. When the worker was getting the donuts, she added a few complementary donut holes. I paid with a $5 bill for the total of $4.10 with tax. After tipping my change, $0.90, she added a few more donut holes to my bag. Moral of the story, don't forget to tip! The donut holes were good, they reminded me a bit of beignets - light and fluffy - with a glaze. Spice from the jalapeños paired harmoniously with the sweetness of the maple frosting, sweetness and saltiness of the bacon, and the fluffy texture of the bar donut. It was the first maple bacon donut of any type I have had and I was very pleased with the donut. The plain cake donut was a perfect eat. Not greasy, my fingers did not get oily from the donut when eating it. The cake was intermediate between dense and light and had a subtle flavor.

Always good, but should try to go earlier rather than later for full choice range as things sell out. Lady was very nice, even threw in a couple of free doughnuts.

First time customer today. Amazing and wonderful selection. Textures and Flavors were all wonderful . Super fresh donuts. Very kind and professional owner. I used to drive to Krispy Kreme when I wanted donuts-- but no more. I'll be coming here regularly now. Thankyou

So let's start by saying there was a legit dead fly floating in my coffee, on top of that drip coffee was served cold. Doughnuts were sloppy looking and taste just like ones from Safeway which is a compliment. Don't understand how that place is in business, maybe because it's next to a 24 hour Pet ER? ‍

First time in while I waited for an appointment at the nearby vet, and it was a pleasant experience. There is a service bell on the counter to ring when you're ready, the woman behind the counter was courteous and efficient, and the donuts I ordered were fresh and tasty. The mocha was good, but was unlike any one I've had in the past and tasted almost like it was sweetened with brown sugar instead of regular. I'd for sure stop by again, it's a picturesque locals-know-it (donut)hole in the wall mom-and-pop shop.

Better donuts elsewhere. I liked the fact that they're Filipino owned and it's definitely a unique place because they serve lumpia! The lumpia is more like veggie spring rolls. The chocolate covered chocolate cake donut was dry. Everything else just tasted like donuts from a grocery store. Nothing to rave about here and this donut shop doesn't serve anything spectacular to set it aside from other small business donut spots. Good selection though.

The best donuts I have ever had; come here every time I am in the area. They are fresh, good variety and very reasonably priced

Stopped in on a sleepy Sunday morning to try some donuts and lumpia!The donuts were great - I had a jelly filled bear claw the size of my head. The crust was perfectly crispy with crunchy glaze, and the inside of the donut was perfectly fluffy and soft. The jelly filling was great too - very impressed with this one. My fiancé had a Boston cream, we both tasted a hint of maple in the chocolate glaze which gave it some extra oomph, we both really enjoyed this one. We only ordered the two donuts but the owner was so kind and hooked us up with an extra donut (an apple fritter) and some donut holes, which we will be enjoying later.The star here is really the lumpia. They are perfectly crispy and crunchy with a delicious spring roll like- filling. I've only ever had meat lumpia so the veggies were a really pleasant surprise. I loved the chili sauce served with it, perfectly sweet and salty. We will be back for more donuts and lumpia!

I stayed at the nearby courtyard and was looking for a sinful breakfast. Pretty good selection of donuts and reasonably priced. Better than your typical dunkin or Krispy kreme.

This place has great donuts and it comes in a cute box. The lady that helped me was very nice and friendly. They have a wide variety to choose from including basic donuts and several that are filled with fruit, cream, and jelly. They also serve egg rolls, coffee, and sandwiches. I would definitely come back here again.
