Came here before a game and sat at the bar. Smart play if you want a new england experience on game day. Bartender was pretty good and helpful. Ambiance was chill. Food was on point!Get that brown butter lobster roll, some wings, and oysters..then you are set with a nice mixed bag of tastings.

Eventide is a popular restaurant from Portland Maine, who have recently expanded to Boston. Located steps from Fenway Park, the restaurant is casual, but refined enough for a nice date. Their Brown Butter Lobster Roll scored them a James Beard Award, and they offer a fantastic selection of local oysters.I started with the innovative "Dirty Dirty Martini", which features oyster vodka, olive brine, oyster brine, and hot sauce. I feared it would be overly salty, but it was perfect, tasting of the ocean in a way that was not cloying. My brothers enjoyed some IPAs from Maine, which were served ice cold. Get at least a dozen oysters. We opted for one of each of the day's offerings, and everything fresh and delicious. Some were naturally plump and sweet, others umami rich and savory. I also recommend the Caesar Salad, which is a large shareable portion, topped with huge Boquerones. The Brown Butter Lobster Roll lived up to the hype. The lobster was buttery, enhanced by the sauce, and served on a fluffy steamed bun. Interesting choice, but it really does work. I liked the Cold Lobster Roll even better; the high quality of ingredients was apparent. Skip the Fried Calamari, which was mostly breading. The Graffiti Eggplant had a unique black sesame sauce, but I found it to be under salted. The Whoopie Pie was dry. Go for the Brown Butter Soft Serve instead, which I believe they make fresh in house.

The food is amazing! The hot and cold lobster rolls were both great , although my favorite was the cold, my husband preferred the hot. The whoopie pie for dessert was nice too. The bartender was friendly. It's seriously the best lobster roll so far, and I'm currently on the cape. Definitely check it out!

We recently visited Eventide before attending a Red Sox game, driven by a craving for lobster rolls. Our experience exceeded expectations. I ordered both types of lobster rolls available and found them both exceptional. Personally, I preferred the butter roll, as the butter sauce was particularly flavorful and the bun was soft and doughy. While the other roll was good, its predominant chive flavor wasn't to my taste, though I can understand its appeal to others. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed his burger, especially the house-made sauce they serve it with. Our waiter, Mychal, kindly provided an additional side of the sauce when he discovered how much he loved the sauce, which did not go to waste as we used it on the extra bread available. Mychal's service was excellent and his warm, engaging demeanor significantly enhanced our dining experience. The restaurant's small and quiet atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed lunch where we could enjoy our conversation. Additionally, the prices were quite reasonable for Boston, with a $19 lobster roll being an exceptional find. We highly recommend checking out Eventide for its delightful offerings and great value.

Eventide Fenway offers a contemporary dining experience with a focus on fresh seafood. Highlights from the menu include: * Oysters: Fresh and flavorful, with a variety of options to choose from. * Lobster Roll: Generous portions of lobster meat in a buttery, toasted roll. * Clam Chowder: Creamy but slightly on the watery side. * Fish and Chips: The fish had too much batter, which overshadowed the flavor of the fish. The restaurant features a modern, relaxed ambiance with attentive service that enhances the overall experience. While some dishes could use improvement, Eventide Fenway remains a solid choice for seafood in Fenway.

Unfortunately like the Red Sox' losing streak, this place was not good... Food? $$$, small portions and you can definitely find tastier things elsewhere. The lobster roll was half the size of a real one. The chowder? Watery and not very tasty. Service? Lackadaisical. Some nice interactions with the staff, but we when the check came out - it took roughly 10 minutes for the waiter to figure out how to charge us using their point of sale device. Ambiance? It's alright, but there are better cheaper options around Fenway park. You're here for THAT - not to really dine in

I heard about Eventide recently from a friend -- they described the brown butter lobster roll to me and I was quite intrigued. We visited on a whim while walking around Fenway on a Sunday night. We weren't that hungry so we just ordered a few things to sample the menu. The brown butter lobster roll ($19) looked extremely small on first glance, but did appear to have a bit more meat once we cut it open. The lobster was pretty good and the brown butter flavor complements it well. I liked the bao bun. This dish was pretty well executed but is quite pricey for what it is.We also got the fish charcuterie board ($24) which was very interesting. I like that we got to try a lot of different things. Most of the items were pretty mildly flavored. I enjoyed the pickled cornichons and scallions -- they had the most distinct flavors. This was definitely unlike any charcuterie board i've had before, but I'm not sure if it was good enough to get again. Lastly, we got the asparagus tempura ($12). This was pretty good, and I've never had asparagus tempura before. The seasoning on the asparagus wasn't strong, and the dipping sauce was too sweet for me. Some of the asparagus was really thick and hard to chew through. This was a light dish for being deep fried but I would've preferred a different seasoningThe service and ambiance here are good, and the location is also great. We did get a bit of sticker shock when comparing the prices to the portion sizes, but the dishes we had were pretty good and inventive. I'm not sure if I would return.

Lobster roll is average! And about two inches long. The Cesar salad had little flavor. The French fries were the best. I had great service from Christian. But food was not much on flavor or portions

Really disappointing. Been to the Portland restaurant and Fenway location a total let down. Lobster roll was small slab of over brown buttered lobster on a bread stick. Charge more and serve a proper Maine lobster roll! Won't go back.
