Such a great find! The beet salad, potato salad & fresh German Bread baked daily are my favorites. The German bread has the right consistency and the loaf is not too heavy at all. The salads are prepared to perfection, I really enjoy how the beets are shredded and the potato salad are cut into very small pieces which is very different from your traditional potato salad. All in all great salads, taste & texture. These items are great for thanksgiving side dishes or regular sides to your dinner or lunch. If you are planning a quick outing in the summer they are great to take on a picnic, friends gathering, hiking, or beach day! They do have many other items, you can also get deli meats & lots of great Euro items that could be harder to find in traditional grocers!

This is one of the most well-stocked European food stores I've been to. They have a variety of brands for each item like pelmenis, lots of different baked goods, chocolates, teas, kompot and really anything you can think of. I also found spices and items for Kazakh and Uzbek cuisines, which is so rare, Plov, Lagman, Beshbarmak.

I'm so lucky I have a Russian grocery store near me. I needed to find herring in oil to make shuba but found out they have some ready-to-eat in the fridge section. If you don't feel like making your own shuba you should get some here, it's absolutely delicious! They have a great variety of Russian ice cream and meats.

My partner loves the Indian instant coffee they sell at this store so this is a frequent stop off for us when in Lynnwood. He reports that this particular coffee is hard to find anywhere else and now he doesn't want to drink anything else. We've never been successful at finding it at Indian food stores, but here they carry it in two different sizes. The store is small, but has quite a large variety of products inside. It's usually not crowded, with easy parking out front, so it's fast to get in and out of. On my most recent visit I was surprised to see how many varieties of frozen perogies they had available. They also have a refrigerated section and some fresh items as well. The alcohol section is impressive if you are looking to try something new. Also a good place to get grape leaves, a wide variety of canned fish and try some different candies. Definitely worth a stop off in you are in the area and want to check out some groceries you probably won't be able to find elsewhere.

I visited this store today and am sad I've lived near here for 5 years and just discovered it! The owner is so nice and helpful. She was happy to help me with anything. I scored some of her famous fresh baked bread. There's a wonderful deli for fresh meats. Freezer section has a wonderful variety of perogis and pelmeni. Lots of unique jams and preserves. So many desserts and cookies to choose from! I was really excited to find German egg noodles for making spaetzle. I can't wait to come back!

A very cool spot hunkered down in a nondescript strip mall on 44th. I don't know what half the stuff here is, but it's clearly come a long way to get here and the prices are reasonable. You can get a lot of packaged goodness--canned fish, fermented things (not just pickles), cookies and other desserts, and starchy items like noodles and other pasta. There's one aisle of some table wines and sweet wines, all from behind the iron curtain (as it were). There's a meat case behind the aisles of shelves, and a few coolers with cheese and other dairy along with a few fancier dessert items. I opted for some white cow's milk cheese from Bulgaria, tangy Estonian salami, and some country rye bread baked in BC but clearly in an eastern european style, if the packaging is any indication. The little finger sandwiches I've been making with these things weigh about a pound a piece. All of the ingredients are incredibly dense. The staff is friendly and cheerful, though much more reserved than the typical American retail clerk. I love having this place here in my hood and will definitely be back. I need to add some photos at the very least.

Bought candies back in 2006 and got poisoned. Contacted the owner and he promised no tv to sell expired grocery. Did not visit this store since then and decided to try again, you won't believe it: bought many different candies last week and all of them were TOO OLD, expired long time ago. Could not see that until opened it. Crazy store and lies over lies. Will proceed to Health Organization to test all this grocery that I bought.

This was a convenient detour from I-5N, then head west from the 44th Ave W exit. I just had to drive around and approach from the back due to the current construction in proximity (8/14/23). I have visited similar stores in North Seattle and Shoreline, but this one seems to be much more Russian focused and has a wider selection of kvass, sweets, teas, and coffees. During this first visit, I purchased a smaller frozen loaf of Lithuanian rye bread, some cheese slices, chocolate wafers, and a Russian version of Nutella. I was the lone customer during this initial visit, but then eventually there were other individuals and family groups onsite. It was good to see that this spot had their regulars and with their usual requested deli items. It'll be fun to bring The Homie here during the upcoming academic year, as he will be studying first year Russian at the university. Nice find to add to my other stops, European Foods in North Seattle and Euro Deli Lakomka in Shoreline.

This great local business features a wide variety of foods from the many democratic and freedom-loving countries of Europe including Germany, Moldova, Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukraine. They have a brand new sign out front that looks great. Friendly staff - we shop here often. Try the bread and sausage!
