Great find! Original recipes, far your typical biz caffeine stop. The Milky Way latte (pictured) is incredible!

Great tiny little shop in the convention center. I stopped by and got a Milk Way coffee (Mocha w/ caramel & hazelnut) it was absolutely delicious. Although very sweet. The pastries were fresh and moist, as they should be. I will be stopping by again all weekend long!

Really sweet couple working here- very kind and considerate. They don't have a lot of breakfast options but some good pastries and bagels and an excellent health dept rating, so that helps.Nice to see a genuine smile in the morning!

Yummy! Friendly, accurate service. I started by asking how their chai was, and I was grateful that the barista answered honestly: he responded that it was on the sweeter side, so I ordered it dirty with a shot of espresso. It tasted great! Creamy and frothy, definitely sweet, with little spice (though not as much as I normally like), and the espresso offered some bitterness that balanced out the flavor nicely. Wish they had more options for hot food, but if you want a sweet pastry they have plenty of variety. Would definitely come back!

This is my most favorite place to get a coffee in Seattle. I am very picky when it comes to my latte, and I tell you.. they just make it amazing every single time!!! I worked in the building for a year and 6 months so it means I've been getting my coffee there since 2016, the consistency is just on point! My last was just as great as the first time I ordered from them. The owner, John is also the nicest person you'll meet, very sweet and hardworking! As well as the other baristas working for him. They also have huge selection of pastries and sandwiches!I will miss my Torrefazione coffee now that I moved to a different job!All the best to this coffee shop!!

Try the Molasses cookie and Hazelnut Latte! I'm not a coffee drinker, so the owner was kind enough to help me choose a drink that didn't have an overpowering coffee flavor.

I was on location for a conference, and was running a little late. I am the type of person that needs a daily caffeine boost because life is hard and food is good. I was a little reluctant to go to this "mom and pop" kind of shop, but overall I'm glad I took the chance.Banana bread was ok. Not as great as it could have been though :( It came wrapped in some type of polyvinyl chloride wrap, which many people use for food and non food purposes. However, that made me a little suspicious as to the freshness of their food. Perhaps that was why the banana bread was not as amazing as other foods I'd purchased from different cafés. I got a grande caramel macchiato and it was positively amazing. Italian coffee beans were strongly contrasted by the caramel, but the coffee itself did not lose any of its delicious characteristic despite this beautiful, intricate dance in flavor.I came again the following day, entranced with the flavor. However to my infinite dismay, the coffee had lost its powerful flavor and was replaced by something far less fun; a pale imitation of other coffees, to say the least. In the face of this terrible tragedy that has destroyed my trust despite bravely combatting the winds and rains of a stormy Seattle, I am sad to say that perhaps time has not been an ally of this place. It is difficult to properly rate such a café, but from two experiences I can say that I have been both thoroughly amazed and disappointed, although my disappointment does stem from my preconceived notion that the coffee may be the same. Perhaps the nice coffee making man may have been having an "off" day, or perhaps he had just one "good" day. Regardless, I have a mixed opinion, although I am leaning towards a negative association. While I rate this café 3 stars, you can assume from preliminary exposure that this may be a 4 star café. Please proceed with caution and an open mind. Somehow simultaneously.

Attending a conference held in the Washington State Convention Center, I was looking for a quick and simple breakfast option. My colleagues and I noticed the short line at the Espresso Caffe Dior, and decided it was fate! My friend got a bagel and I chose a mango smoothie. The restaurant also had some delicious-looking desserts. My $5 smoothie didn't take long to make and was really good -- tasted very fresh. I liked that I could see all the ingredients that went into it and see them make it. A good place to check out.

Serving coffee with a personality of 2×4. C'mon man, youre in Seattle. Try to learn something from Starbucks. Everything is wrapprd in plastic. What the hell? Kinda reminded me of my Korean mom back in the seventies who covered our entire sofa set with a clear plastic. Lol. By the way, I ordered a turkey sandwich and they give me a pre.wrapped sandwich from the glass case. So, I said I like mine made fresh. Lol. The son gave me somewhat irritated look and told his mom to make one fresh in Korean. Well, she ended up wrapping it a plastic plastic before handing it to me. I guess old habits never change.

Otherwise known as how a lot of the comic Con attendees started their day. The cafe menu is fairly basic but their drinks are well made. I was a barista and I still make my own coffee, despite having visited cafes around the world. Definitely stop here rather than Starbucks. They also have pastries and a few lunch and breakfast sandwich type options. Lots of outside seating

The reviews on Yelp are old; check out the reviews on Google and you will see a completely different story. The consensus is that the lady at the cash register is unfriendly to say the least--she is often rude and mean to many customers. I was there this morning for a quick coffee and pastry while at a conference at the convention center. The lady made a simple, honest error I'm taking my order--which can happen anytime and I don't mind it as long as we can just fix the error and move on. When I verbally pointed it out, she got overly nasty about it and refused to print out a new receipt that doesn't show the error. Plus, when I asked for an itemized receipt, not just a credit card processing receipt that does not display the list of items ordered, she simply refused my request and snapped at me! What's up with being so cranky? Was that such an unreasonable request? If your computer simply cannot print it out, do you have to be so mean about telling it to your customer? The coffee itself was watery-- free coffee at the conference tasted better. The ham and cheese croissant was straight from the fridge and was heated up in a microwave. For Seattle where you can get great coffee and excellent service everywhere, the whole experience was a big disappointment, as I wanted to support small business like this one. The old man who was a barista there seemed much calmer and friendlier though.
