Driven by here a few times and finally was able to check them out! It's Filipino street food - perfect for a summer night!Everything tasted good and we got to grill on a charcoal grill. Of course we had to pair it with some vinegar which they had as well. The owner walked us through everything as well and was super helpful and kind! I highly recommend coming in and checking them out!

Perfect end to a wonderful night. Came here after going to a EWF/Chicago concert at the North Island Amphitheater. Hunger was in order after all those dancing. Arrived while they were getting ready to close and cleaning up stuff. They knew we were hungry and brought back the food for us to order from. They restarted the fire in the grill and brought out a table for us to eat. Food: Awesome Sauce (literally) that sauce that they slathered brought back memories of my penniless days back home. It was so good that I said I did not need the vinegar dip. Wrong ! That vinegar mix was the best and enhanced the already yummy bbq. I had the tenga, isaw baboy, betamax and pork bbq.Service: what can I say they did not want me to ruin my first time there so they cooked it for me and it was to perfection.Thank you Rich we will definitely come back...soon

I recommend this place! Come here for an amazing Filipino food experience! Their sisig is soooo good! Their free soup is so great & warms your soul! Food Quality is amazing, meat is always tender & perfectly seasoned. The owners and staff are approachable, helpful, kind & always smiling! The Filipino music & experience, brings me back to the streets of my hometown. I have to say, their chicken Isaw here is clean! Unlike the other ihawan in National City. Request it at the cashier, they don't display it to assure its freshness. Thank you Eskinita for a beautiful experience!

We had a great time with our family here! Awesome street foods and Awesome Customer service! It's not our first time here and did not disappoint us even the kids love and enjoy the food, especially the experience was amazing for the kids.

I'm so glad we found this. My husband and I wanted to celebrate tonight and get really bomb ass food at the same time, but wanted to venture a little ways away from where we normally hang out. We decided to come here and man, did this exceed our expectations. Located inside large plaza, EsKiNiTa is truly a hole-in-the-wall joint serving up some of that authentic Filipino skewers over a grill that you get to cook yourself (it IS part of the experience). Now... don't expect fine dining, expect a welcoming and homey atmosphere. The owner was beyond hospitable, explaining what is the most popular item and even cooking our food for us. The charcoal isn't your basic pillow-shaped, charcoal either. They used mesquite charcoal, so it adds another layer of flavor to your food. I highly recommend the chicken and pork BBQ, chicken intestine, chicken liver, and chicken heart. But honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the choices. The BBQ sauce is a must and if you're like me, make sure to get the vinegar sauce to add a different flavor to your tastebuds. You'll have a great time, be surrounded by good people, and enjoy it all with some really good food. Highly recommend, and just like he said... I'll definitely be back.

This place was amazing. I found this place on google trying to figure out what to eat. I went and omg let me tell you! The food was amazing, the workers were so sweet and when I tell you I felt like family I truly did. The setting was comfy and just enjoyable like it was a nice summer family cookout. I don't remember the guys name but he had a nice beard and was telling us that next time we come we grab our food and were even welcome to cook it ourselves. He said it's their way of building community and I think that's the best thing I've ever heard. I will be coming again...A LOT!

We have always seen a lot of people eating at Eskinita and finally decided go in to give it a try and it was really good!Rich, the owner, walked us through, gave us suggestions and grilled the skewers for us. We were planning on taking the food to eat at home but we ended up eating there, they gave us two different sauces that made the skewers taste even better.We are definitely planning on going back.

AMAZING FOOD. GOOD SERVICE. Tito even cooked for us if you come when it's not busy. Very friendly and very authentic. Brings me back to the Philippines
