Epulo Bistro

Had a light dinner Sunday 2/25/24 after catching a movie at the Edmonds Theater. We definitely needed the reservations as they were pretty full. Mid week the bar looks like it would be great to eat in. The restaurant is very pretty and the service was attentive and friendly. We each had a glass of wine and split the Margherita pizza and Mediterranean Mint salad. Perfect amount if you're not starving but we certainly finished them both. And reasonably priced too. The 4-star is due to the noise - we sat near the bar at an unusually large 2 top, much deeper than most - and the bar was a bit noisy making it hard to have a conversation.

I went here for dinner on Saturday evening... It was overall pretty good experience, but we want to go back to really have a final verdict.They were quite busy and fully booked with reservations but we got lucky they had space at the bar.We ordered some bruschetta and Brussel sprouts off of the happy hour menu then had a steak salad and rigatoni for dinner. Overall good quality but nothing to rave about.Presentation of food was OK and portions were good for happy hour, but I'm curious what their main meals look like.Had only a couple of drinks which were ok and service was good overall, very friendly staff.If I were measuring the food I'd give this a three but the service bumps it to a four.We'll be back again and I'll update this after we have a full meal off the regular menu.

I'm a big fan of Epulo Bistro. I've dined outside, I've dined inside and found one to be relaxing and the other to be charming. I love the atmosphere. It was a captivating quality to its aesthetics. The only time I've gone is during the week, early in the day so typically the restaurant isn't too busy when I'm there. I am an absolute sucker for their cheeseburger. I find it to be utterly delicious - a savory, seasoned patty with plenty of cheese and a soft bun. Their fries are good, but typically I have no room for even a single fry after eating this gigantic burger. It is very filling!The cocktails are on an ever changing list. While they do have staples I typically gravitate toward the seasonal selection which can be hit or miss. I particularly loved their summer variety and had found fall and winter not quite as appealing to me. The service ranges from average to excellent. I've had waitresses who were kind and professional to waitresses who offer suggestions, crack a joke, and really put the welcoming effort. I imagine I will return again in the near future.

Got charged a 20% upcharge for a table of 6 no one said anything about it. We were going to leave a tip but seeing the upcharge we did not. Glad I looked at the check.Be careful. The tip for our table without seeing the upcharge would have been $150. Really.

Everything was great from the moment we sat down. We had a party of 5 including one toddler. Waitress was great and super attentive to the needs of our kiddo. All drinks and food were fantastic. We had multiple items off happy hour and each order entrees. Also tried 3 different desserts! Everything was great. Better than some meals I've had in Seattle lately.

Beautiful! The place is gorgeous . And the service is the best in Edmonds! But the food is what you have to experience! The boneless short rib is so delicious and so much I couldn't believe it. Then there is the halibut and also the risotto!!!!! Some gluten free options and vegetarian!!!

Came here because of all the raving reviews and we just couldn't figure out what the hype was about. We sat on the patio which was nice. The moment we were seated and greeted by our waitress, she seamed very annoyed and short with us. Most of our party got the Kobe Beef burger which was very ok. Even though everyone ordered Medium - the burgers all came out well done and dry.The boneless beef short rib was a big disappointment - chewy and felt like it was a microwaved leftover from the day before. It needed sauce to help wash it down. The potato was hard and undercooked. Simply not worth $35.Disappointing experience. Definitely overpriced for what it is. Will not be returning.

The food was good and our server Leslie was great. The noise level was distracting. Couldn't hear each other talk! My black cod was on point but my date had the Oso Bucco and wasn't impressed.

Great service even coming in close to closing. Food was great as always. Perfect Mother's Day dinner

Always a wonderful experience and delicious food. The drinks are creative and tasty. Great service as well.
