My absolute favorite Italian place in San Diego. The ambience is unmatched- a cozy comfortable environment- great for intimate dining or a group dinnerPlays great movies on the projector outside The food is delicious and the menu has something for everyone! The bread (with melted mozzarella)and appetizers are some of the best i've had!

We had the pleasure of having dinner here for a friend's bachelorette party Saturday night and the food and ambiance literally transported us to Italy-- let me tell ya about it . Upon arrival, we waited in line behind another party to get checked-in to our 7pm reservation, but the host was no where to be found . After waiting 10 minutes, which seemed like forever in our group of 6 dressed in our show-stopping bachelorette party themed outfits, we finally got our table . The inside was decorated classic, lights were romantically dim, and the place itself had a very vintage feel . There were wine bottles in the background used as part of the esthetic . We were sat right in front near the left side of the door. Water jugs and cups were pre-set on the table and we waited another 10 mins to be greeted to order wine . We finally were greeted by Hector who was very kind and friendly, but he definitely was a busy man . He took our wine orders, brought us the complimentary bread and oil dip, and then we placed our main dish orders . Here's the food review: Cabernet was smooth and hit the spot. Perfect to balance out the rich Italian dishes ! 8.5/10complimentary bread and dipping oil was tasty and a nice freebie. 7.5/10Spaghetti Romano was ready to be photographed for Instagram ! Spaghetti was cooked perfectly al dente just how I liked. Burrata was fresh and creamy . Pesto cream was deliciously rich and flavorful . Crushed pistachios gave some nuttiness . The pecorino cheese crust bowl was the star of the show-- Crispy, crunchy, salty, and sooo fun to eat . Recommend sharing ! 9/10My other friends had the salmon entree, both gnocchi entrees, prosciutto salad (which i almost ordered for myself)-- they all enjoyed their dishes and presentation was lovely . They offered me to try, but I honestly was too full from my spaghetti to try them lol . The bride was offered a free dessert which was a nice touch-- she loved every bite ! Overall, food was very authentic and satisfying . Love that they have plenty of variety and even gluten-free options . We were there for a total of almost 3 hours which is a little much due to the fact that we all only had one drink each-- the bride had two drinks lol . I would love to be back to try more of their dishes, but maybe on a less busy time and day !

A client recommended this restaurant, so I checked it out with a companion based on that. The location and ambiance are fine but what was lacking was the service and food. Regarding the former, our waitress introduced herself within a few minutes of our seating but then disappeared for approximately 20 or so minutes. As such, we were left twiddling our thumbs waiting to place our orders until I brought it to the attention of the hostess. That's strike one.Strike two was the food. While there's no real complaint to be made about the taste, texture, temperature, or other stuff, there's plenty to be said about the portion size. When dining at well-to-do eateries that serve small portions, the food is usually made in such a way that it's filling despite the size. That wasn't the case here. The number of ravioli served wasn't many and they were wont of filling.Given these two things, I have to rank this restaurant toward the bottom of Italian restaurants I've dined at in San Diego thus far.

Enoteca is always delicious! A PB neighborhood favorite. It is quality Italian without being overpriced or stuffy. Cute atmosphere - they often play movies on a projector outside! Personal favorites are the orecchiette bosco and the carbonara!

What a great find! We went on a Tuesday and it was very busy. Sitting outside is definitely preferred especially in the summer. The gnocchi tre gusti wasn't anything special, but it was still good. The minestrone was lighter which was nice and had lots of fresh veggies. The burrata wrapped in prosciutto was delightful and the burrata was so perfectly fresh. The carbonara was made well too and it was more authentic. The dessert's custard and mascarpone was well made and had great flavor as well. They seemed to overbook which was a bummer after having a reservation. The service was ok, nothing memorable. The food was all quite good and I would return! We did street parking in Pacific Beach.

This review is mostly just for the gnocchi. The pesto and the shrimp in the gnocchi was spectacular. Very good and delicious. However the gnocchi itself was a bit mushy in texture and just didn't hit the mark for me. I like my gnocchi soft, billowy and more fluffy and this was kinda mushy. Although the flavor was there it was the texture. The spaghetti carbonara was very delicious. One of the best carbonaras I've had..The meatballs and the burrata also were very good. The customer service also was good. Again. If it wasn't for the texture of the gnocchi I would have given 4 stars but I am big on gnocchi and I've tried many of the gnocchi in San Diego and for that I took off one star. I'd totally eat here again just probably wouldn't get my favorite Italian dish ever which is gnocchi.

Our first dinner for a short trip to San Diego. It had a small special dreamy vibe to it. The Adima pasta soup was so delicious, full of fresh veggie and pasta flavor! It was so simple but full of flavor. We ordered a variety among us and the stand out were the pork chops. The most tender almost melt in your mouth delish! Saving for future trips back.

This place had lots of charm, playing black and white music in the background. The hostess was really friendly, so was our server. Food not so much reminded me of spaghetti factory pasta sauce was I feel like ragu nothing special love the atmosphere to bad food did not match .

Feel- this place is super cute, especially with the outdoor seating, string lights, and cozy ambiance. I'd definitely suggest getting a reservation since the line started piling up while we were on our way out. Service- amazing and relatively fast regardless of how busy it was. Food- I personally ordered the special, which was a spinach-infused cavatelli with mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes in a parmesean sauce. The pasta itself was pretty good, though I would occasionally get somewhat salty bites (a minor complaint). The portion size was perfect, and I was happy with my order. My mother ordered the lobster ravioli, which like others have said, was a pretty small portion. I'm sure the sauce was rich enough to make up for it, but a few more raviolis would have been nice. Our drive to Little Italy is quite taxing, so a local place like this is greatly appreciated. It's worth a try!
