The service is fast. Make sure to have a smart phone and QR scanner on it. There's a code for each table..place the order online and they serve you fast.My only complaint is the price is a bit high for some things; especially the dim sum. You would get it 3-4 dollars cheaper at a dim sum place. I don't recommend the seafood ramen. I like seafood and the quality was fine...I don't think the seafood would overpower the taste of the broth which wasn't good.My date had a rice dish that was really good. I'll go here again but probably only for ramen. Again, very fast service.

Dim sum is nonexistent in federal way, and this restaurant owner took the courage to make one. The opportunity to add a ramen business into it as well is genius. We used to frequent this business when it was a Chinese buffet, and during the pandemic it quietly restructured into a dimsum restaurant. It is clean, spacious, and easy to get to. I give it four stars due to the price per dimsum. Aside from that I would give it 5 if it was the fare of its' competitors up north. We ordered: shu mai, shrimp, har gow, turnip cakes, and a pork dumpling. Tea costs extra and is not complimentary (this is also the reason for a 3/4 star). Parking is in a strip mall complex area, and for the most part safe. It is a good restaurant for kids and families.

Light bright and clean, ordering is done completely on your phone after scanning the QR code on the table. Haven't ever experienced that, it was actually really nice. There were so many options! The Dim Sum was hot and fresh and Delish, totally on point. Serving size was good, chili oil was great!! Overall very pleased and will be returning.

Came here to try their dimsum. Some dishes stood out like the fried taro balls and chicken feet but others were just bland , like congee, fried taro, sticky fried rice. Since there's no dimsum in the area, food is alright. Service was just ok. When the bill came out, they charged us 18% tip, which was no where on the menu. we had 8 people so maybe that why but still. What was upsetting is the tip was charged after tax so instead of $42 it was $47. When asked about it, the guy just said that's how the system was setup and he can't changed it, which is a lie!! What if I want to give less or more tips....he gave us phone # to pos system, which I called and they said the restaurant should be able to change the tipping amount at anytime. Definitely will not go back and wouldn't recommend it. Is this even legal ?!!

Engimono Ramen was a great stop to make when I was spending the evening in Federal Way a few weeks ago. It wasn't exactly pleasant outside. A bit cold and rainy and getting a nice bowl of Ramen Soup just hit the spot!To place your order you have use a QR code and your phone in order to place it. Once that part is completed they get your food out to you fairly quickly. I got the Ramen with Chicken Katsu. It was a very satisfying dish with it's hot broth and perfectly battered chicken. The broth definitely warmed my cold bones. Lots of veggies in the soup and you can add extra ingredients when you are placing your order through the QR Code menu. Good experience coming here and a perfect kind of meal for me as we head into the rainy season and winter.

I've been to this location when it was Mika buffet back in the day. The layout was changed a bit but not much. Looked pretty clean and tidy. My husband and I decided to make it a date night and wanted dim sum. I'd heard about this spot on social media and decided to give it a go. Service was limited but that's ok. It was like those restaurants where you scan a QR code on the table and put in your order. Like Shinya Shokudo. Slowly, your items trickle in. We were seated at a large table, thank goodness because of all the food we ordered. The food was good. Larger portions than expected so we ended up ordering more than we could finish. Leftovers!! Yay!! The Siu Mai was fresh and delish, we got the Japanese ones too. Brought back memories of my childhood. My favorite is the Chinese broccoli, cooked perfectly with just enough crunch but the leafy greens-not too soggy. The chashu bao was fluffy and delish. We tried the pork chop ramen. Pork chop was kinda dry but the ramen broth and noodles were nicely seasoned. Soft boiled egg was done right, I'm picky about that. Overall, the food was great and for great prices. I'd love to visit again to share a meal with out of town friends and family. One thing that I did notice, there was a twinge of public restroom smell within our vicinity of seating. It was faint but noticeable to me. It's tough when you're eating so I had to mention it. Could've been just my nose too.

I haven't had good dim sum in a long time, so I was excited to try this place out. I enjoyed it very much. If you hate QR code menus then stay away; I loved how easy it was to order what we wanted, and then the waiter was able to give each dumpling to the right person. Everything tasted fresh and took me back to dim sum with my mom years ago. They have all the classics and more. I also enjoyed that it's a big space and people were seated far apart. Covid is not "over" for me so I appreciated the safety factors. I'd love to come back.

I've been to this place one time before and wanted to try it again and it was great, came on a Monday for lunch and it wasn't too busy. Got seated right away. This is a great place to share food.. ordered plenty of dim sum and also a mini hot pot, didn't do ramen this time but I do remember the ramen was good. Pricing is reasonable, especially since you get a mixture of different types of food. Make sure to drink some green tea to help you digest all this. The place is on the top floor of the building. The servers are very nice and still wear masks, probably for safety, the space is very clean and open. Definitely will be back when in the federal way area.

All of the dumplings looked so good, but I settled on the S21. Steamed Shrimp & chives. It was perfect. It was juicy and soft but not too soft to where it might fall apart. Ambience was calm and down-to-earth.
