Really nice folks and great to be aware from the (other) tourists! Great food - and the passionfruit drinks hit the spot!

You know you're in an authentic Latin restaurant when the menu is in Spanish first with English translation underneath. Very unassuming small dining room decorated with vibrant colors on the walls and authentic looking woven tablecloths. We eat vegan and were concerned they wouldn't have anything on the menu we could eat. But they assured us they could make veggie fajitas. We started with a basket of their crispy chips with homemade salsa. The salsa was fresh and had a lovely slight afterburn. My husband and I shared the veggie fajitas which came out hot and sizzling, a generous portion of sautéed onions, tomatoes and three colors of peppers. The order came with black beans and rice. We were glad we'd ordered the corn tortillas for the fajitas since they were homemade as well. The aroma of masa wafted up as we opened the foil packet of tortillas, warm and thick with a slight chew to them. We also ordered a side of plantains which were perfectly sautéed. We were very happy with our meal here and from the look of the menu I think carnivores will really enjoy what they have to offer. For authentic Latin food without the hype or wait times of the trendier hot spot down the street, give Emanuel a try!

Delicious food, everything was perfect! Some of the best homemade tortillas and plantains I've had. Their house salsa is divine.

Wow! So delicious! If you have not tried Papusas your life is missing something! The chicken and cheese Papusas, the Flautes, Tacos, the gautemalean tamales and even the slaw for the tacos were amazing. Service was lovely. This very authentic food was worth my time and a great treat! The handmade tamales are usually out by diner on Friday so get in early!

Everything we have had and I mean everything is amazing. Fresh, cooked to order. The people are very friendly, explaining what each dish is. I don't like spicy so they make sure the dishes that I order don't have chilies in them. Do yourself a favor and try this place, you will be hooked like the rest of us.
