Elysian Brewing - Capitol Hill

Stopped here with a friend for an after-dinner drink. Nice brewery with a descent food selection. We just munched on some French fries while we enjoyed our drinks. It's just street parking from what I could tell. This place is spacious and inviting. The staff were pretty cool and didn't seem to mind chatting with us if other customers were taken care of.Upon leaving, I glanced at their to-go selection. It had hit me then that I'd seen their brand in California. Their beers are good!

I love this place and I'm surprised I haven't reviewed it yet because we've been several times. We've never had a bad experience here, both our food and the drink selection are great.We've actually brought our kids here with us many times and they have a good selection for kids, including chicken tenders, excellent fries, delicious, mac & cheese, etc. I also have really enjoyed the fish and chips a couple of times and their burger is one of the best in Seattle. Again those fries are really delicious. I also really enjoyed their garden salad which is a simple green salad but their dressing is very umami-filled and I would bottle that up to take home. We've been a couple times too for snacks or lunch and have tried their nachos which have an excellent queso on them and some great pickled peppers. Definitely one of the better nachos I've tried in the city. Of course they have beer and they have nice tasting trays, but they also have some pretty great cocktails too. I like the vibe; I like that it's open air during the summer and they have a few tables outside. Staff are always welcoming and service is usually pretty quick. I feel like the portion and quality of the food is great considering the price, especially in seattle.

I can't entirely explain why, but every time I go into Elysian, my expectations are low, and by default I am consistently impressed with how good the food is. Don't sleep on this kitchen. There's a little something for everyone. Sometimes it can be hard to find a place on the hill that everyone agrees on, and Elysian is a simple fix. Service was good and consistent, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. I appreciate how they seem to constantly be updating their menu, their beer list is great, and whatever specials are on the menu are worth ordering.

Love this spot! As someone who can appreciate but can't tell you much about beer, I enjoyed the variety of portions, as well as the laidback vibes of this place! We stopped by for a drink (or a flight!!!) before dinner and it was perfect! We each got a flight (you get to pick the beers you want to try) and shared a plate of fries. Service was prompt!

Stopped here for a quick drink and a snack. The sour beer was just okay, it was very light but didn't pack that sour flavor. The pretzel and nachos were both good. The queso on the nachos was very good and not very goat cheese-y so don't let that scare you off!

I came here with a coworker after work. Being from out of town I was excited to try Elysian and frequently get their beer in Pennsylvania. Upon arrival we were seated at the bar and taken care of quickly. I had ordered a few beers, one seasonal and one noon seasonal. They do have a solid selection and their west coast ipas are great. The food here just didn't really match the quality of the beer though. I had he brussel sprouts app which was decent, but the reason this is a 3 star and not a 4 star was the burger. It was a bit sub par and so soggy that the bun fell apart eating it. Overall a cool experience to try out but didn't have the greatest experience with the food.

So impressed with Elysian - for a variety of reasons.We came here after visiting another local brewery where we did NOT have a good experience. Our hopes were that Elysian would take the bad taste out of our mouths (literally and figuratively) with some good brews. We were blown away!Diana was our server, and wow was she spot on. We weren't quite sure what we wanted a full pint of to drink, so we asked for a sample of one. She not only brought that sample, but samples of 2 of their other similar beers. How intuitive! Although they all were good, we finally settled on the Push Mower Pils, which was perfect.This is a very comfortable, welcoming brewery. It has a full bar that obviously makes a variety of mixed drinks. A full kitchen is also at this location, so if you're looking for some food to go along with your beer (or whatever you're drinking), Elysian does have that option.Such a great experience. We weren't rushed or encouraged to purchase anything more than we wanted. Diana was a great host, engaging in conversation with us regarding the area and info about the brewery itself.Highly recommended. We're so happy we stopped in: good beer, great vibe, excellent service.

I was honestly surprised that the food here was so good. We only had the hot cheese and tomato jam bread but it was great. The tomato jam is such a great pair with goat cheese that I'm not sure why people don't use it more often. Honestly the beer wasn't anything super memorable but also wasn't bad. They were good about their samples but I didn't care for any of them to get a lot. The service was great and the atmosphere was pretty well set up as well. The warm lighting and open room made it feel pretty welcoming. Overall a pretty decent place to get a bite and drink if your in the area

Parking can be challenging but there is public parking kiddy corner from the brewery.Our waiter with the cigarette earring was great! From my sampler I thought the Full Throttle was best, just me. I would order the Mac n cheese, Brussels sprouts, Hamburger with sweet peppers and egg. (The egg was on the hamburger). I would definitely revisit

We came here for a drink so can only speak to service and drinks. The menu is extensive! Lots of beers on tap (no surprise) and then a full bar with cocktails too. There was a food menu too (lots of options) but we were just here for the drinks. We had a group of 5. It was during the cold, snowy January 2024 weekend so it wasn't packed. We were seated right away. Service was friendly. Drinks were tasty. I'd definitely come back for a longer visit and try the food.
