Eva is an amazing pastry chef! We enjoyed the cake tasting experience and appreciated the variety of flavors available to choose from. She did an amazing job with decorating our cake and setting everything up so it looked beautiful on our dessert table! Everyone kept raving about her cookies and I whole heartedly agree! So delicious!! I also appreciated her insight and suggestion to not do just cupcakes but to go for a combination of mini cupcakes and cookies! Our guests love the variety and flavor options!

My husband and I highly recommend EOB for all your event needs! We booked her well in advance for our wedding and she was very flexible when we asked to meet. This meant a lot since we are from Sacramento. She brought samples which made our decision easy. On the day of our cake was incredible! It matches the mood and ambiance and was just as tasty!

We had a specific vision in mind for a white cake with fondant details of our favorite things (marvel, star wars, disney, the office) and she did an amazing job bringing it to life! That and the cake was absolutely delicious!

Literally no words. Absolute perfection. Eva is the sweetest human and her desserts are superior. If you're in San Diego, you need her in your life. She made me the most perfect boho wedding cake!

If you're looking for a baker with good customer service, I would look elsewhere. I was expecting the cake to be the best part of my wedding day after she provided a bunch of actually good tasting samples for the cake tasting. Naturally I was excited. Seems that of all the vendors hired for my wedding, the baker was the only one who had the "incorrect" date. Things happen, I can almost look past that. What I can't look past is the fact she knew that she rushed a cake to my wedding day, which you could tell was quickly cooked and burnt on the outside, but missing part of what we had already paid for, and DID NOT reach out about anything. Again, we're specifically talking about customer service. She may have gleefully kept our money had we not reached out to her 8 days after the wedding day. I would NOT recommend doing business with this "company". She may make tasty treats(I wouldn't know because the stuff delivered on my wedding day weren't nearly as good as her samples), but that doesn't mean everyone should run a business.

Eva made us the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake for us this past June. She sold us during our customized cake tasting appointment. I personally appreciated her only making flavors to try that we would actually want to have. Many vendors simply have pre-selected flavors and it's not the same experience. She was overall a great listener; and executed the 3 different flavors we wanted per layer--carrot cake w/nuts, lemon berry, and a white almond cake. Cake was moist and everyone raved about it--which tends to be rare at most weddings! Hoping to come back for future events and have cakes made by her!

The cake tasted different than it did for the taste testing but the tarts were amazing and all of the donuts were gone before the wedding ended. The mini pies were so cute and guests asked to take the rest home so they wouldn't go to waste. Will use her again for future parties.

Eva made a beautiful 6-inch banana cake with whipped chocolate ganache filling and white buttercream and a variety of cookies (Smores, Double Chocolate with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Salted Caramel, Red Velvet, Honey Lavender Shortbread) for our wedding in May. She offers a great variety in cake flavors and gave us a ton of freedom to come up with creative cookie flavors that we loved. She did an amazing job hand painting our cake with cacti which was such a wonderful reminder of the cactus garden where my husband proposed. She was very helpful in answering all of our questions leading up to the big day. Our guests absolutely loved trying the different cookie flavors. I would recommend Eva to anyone!

Eva's cakes (and cupcakes, and eclairs) are so good and perfect for birthdays, weddings, and bridal showers. They are all 100% custom, made to order, and BEAUTIFUL!! I would highly recommend her for any of your party needs!

We chose Elizabeth Oliver Baking company for our wedding cake and were so happy that we did! Eva was so helpful in giving us ideas for different flavors and worked within our budget to help give us exactly what we were looking for. She is SO caring about her clients and made the most delicious, beautiful cake for our wedding! Both presentation and flavor were AMAZING and we got so many compliments on our wedding cake!
