Elixir Espresso & Wine Bar

Service is always good. The crepes here are great. It's the right amount of thinness but enough to hold any fillings well. I like the Yummy Yummy Crepe. The savory crepes are good too. Their coffee is great. If you need decaf, they have decaf espresso. Parking is street parking. Haven't had a problem with it because the times I've been here are in the morning.

08.01.2024Hubby and I came by early after a grocery store stop to try their coffee. The small shop is on the first floor of an open courtyard building, just take the steps down from the sidewalk/street level.It has a large open window to sit at and a welcoming entrance. Free WiFi is available if you want to sit and work. Seating is limited inside but there are outdoor couches/chairs right outside the shop in the courtyard. There was only one female employee working the register and being the barista. She was friendly and nice. I ordered a Cafe Viennese today and it was soothing with the honey and cinnamon. The temperature was just right so I was able to drink it right away. They also double cup so a sleeve isn't necessary. But if you're the sipping type, your coffee could turn cold before you finish.

It's my favorite place in La Jolla. The warm atmosphere and friendly staff make the cafe an ideal place. I was there around 6 p.m. today. Attentive and competent baristas are always ready to recommend a drink and dessert. The coffee was just unreal! The service is fast. In general, dedicated staff will provide first-class service that will keep you coming back again and again. Be sure to check them out!

4 stars for the location and ambience... clean and cute little cafe. It was very cold inside though and didn't have a ton of space.5 stars for the service. The two people working there were friendly and helpful, and service was fast3.5 stars for the cappuccino. It was better than Starbucks (most anything is), but not as good as others I've had. 5 stars for the crepe shell - loved the taste and texture of the crepe shell. Yum!1.5 stars for the filling (turkey, spinach and mozzarella) - The turkey tasted like very average deli turkey (I'd hoped for something less processed), a very tiny amount of spinach and cheese, and not much flavor in any of it. Maybe the sweet crepes would be better, but this was my first savory crepe and I definitely wouldn't repeat this experience, especially for $12.50All in all a mixed experience. I might come back to try the gelato or a sweet crepe or pastry, but I definitely didn't get the quality I'd hoped for in the items I purchased, especially for the price.

Yummmmy! They have been voted best cold brew and crepe for a reason. The crepe was so delicious. Strawberries were cut the perfect size to always have the perfect bite. Nutella smeared inside and drizzled on the outside just in case you didn't have enough! All the coffees were great that we had. Beautifully done and not scalding hot. They do have dairy free options as well. The staff was very friendly and made all our treats with care. We were visiting from Las Vegas but frequently visit SD and LaJolla. This easily got added to one of our "MUST Stop In" before we head home.

Many barstools and a couple of seats but many tables and chairs outside in the shared plaza and wifi so can be used for work and studying. Turmeric latte was very good. Can taste the spices and it isnt too overwhelming.Service was quick as it was not busy on a weekday afternoon. They have a big food menu and there are a few items I would like to try another time.

Been here a couple times when I visit San Diego. This place is located in a quaint plaza in La Jolla. Walking in, it had such a warm, cozy ambiance. It would be an amazing spot to do work or read. They had a little counter with flyers and posters to support local artists, which I really loved. We ended up getting a matcha latte, affogato, and a vanilla latte. The drinks came out relatively fast and the staff was super friendly. Drinks were great, as usual!

Great hidden spot for coffee, fantastic rich donuts and crepes! Very classy and artsy vibe and very peaceful the few times I have been. I was able to get some work done in between running errands but at the same time you don't feel like everyone goes there for 'work and coffee' which is what I like about coffee shops. I did not get the wine bar vibe, but maybe is due to the timing. I like that they have exterior seats and is super pleasant plaza and perfect for people watching too. I love the lavender donuts, all the pastries are delicious.

01-07-2023Ordered: -Oatmeal Mocha (don't remember the price)-- first time having oatmeal milk. Going forward will order my hot drink with oatmeal milk, really enjoyed it! -Chicken-Pesto Crepe $10.95-- simple but very fulfilling. Good location, delicious drinks, and chill vibes. Service was a bit slow, my experience was brief (order what you want & go, pretty to the point). The girls were talking in the back for awhile so I was waiting around for a few minutes before ordering, but I didn't mind much. I was happy to try this location since they're no longer at UTC. A 16oz white mocha is $6.25, with an extra $1 for oat milk. I haven't tried the food but the iced coffee was well balanced
