5 Stars honestly it's that good! Mexican food is ultimately perfect for Taco Tuesday to satisfy your expectations. Got a Surf and Turf Burrito and they got this packed with shrimp and steak, and everything tastes exactly as you would expect. The burrito was hefty in size and delicious. Since it was Taco Tuesday, there was a discount of 15% when I paid at the register. I think it also had to do with me arriving towards the end of the day while my two colleagues had almost finished their burrito's.For the next time when I'm in town, l'll try it arrive a little bit earlier to enjoy my food a little more and have more conversations.On the table was a choice of mild, medium or hot salsa. They do serve beer and horchata, but none of us were in the mood for more alcohol.Service is quick and it's a very low key casual restaurant so you'll most likely eat messy while enjoying good comfort food!

El Zaguán is the bomb.com! First off the nachos and the tacos nopales are to die for. Everything we ate here was delicious, and full of flavor. We came here a couple times for lunch, and is walking distance from the convention center.Did I also mention they have chocoflan and strawberry tres leche??!!!! The strawberry tres leche is to die for, so delicious, and you get a giant slice, it's definitely worth it!The Jamaica is average, not the best Jamaica I've had but gets the job done, def recommend the sandia drink, but it's a little sweet, recommend adding extra water to it, and it will be just right!

This place is absolutely amazing! Came to Phoenix on a business trip and decided to check this place out for lunch. The lines were long and it did take about 10 minutes for us to order but it was worth it. The location itself is small and has only a handful of tables but they do offer outdoor seating. Beautiful scenery with the tall corporate buildings. I ordered a Baja Style Burrito and a taco plate with three tacos. Prices were reasonable at about $40 total for the food and drinks. The burrito IS a little small for the price but it was delicious! Seriously, delicious. The tacos de asada and birria were also great!I would recommend this place to anyone interested in some good Mexican food. Being from LA, I can defiantly assure you this isn't a street style or home style type of Mexican food joint but it's worth the visit.

I was on the hunt for a breakfast spot in downtown Phoenix around 11:30 AM and stumbled upon a cozy little place. I inquired about their breakfast menu and was relieved to hear they were still serving. The staff member suggested the chilaquiles verde with two eggs, a dish I had never tried before. I decided to go for it and complemented it with a hazelnut latte. Despite the small size of the establishment, the atmosphere was laid-back and inviting. Overall, I found the experience to be quite enjoyable.

Tinga bowl was really good, this place has a great ambience if you wanna stop by and have a nice happy hr lunch, service was great and happy hr includes 1 dollar off Mexican beer! Highly recommended!

Had the pleasure of eating here yesterday the Birria tacos and the beans and rice are so good! I also loved all of the sauces. The owner treated us like family and it just made the whole experience that much better and I will support her business from here on out. Super cute restaurant as well. If you are craving Mexican food and are downtown this place doesn't disappoint.

Extremely competent burritoLocal place. They said hi and were friendly. Said I was thinking about the Baja burrito. They asked what I liked and made a suggestion to the daily special (surf and turf) at a slightly lower cost and it was very good. Salsas compliment the burrito nicely Surprisingly friendly and good local place that didn't rush you out. Highly suggest it for a comfortable lunch especially if you are stuck at the convention center
