DELICIOUS!!! I've heard about the new Westside Paper development but hadn't really explored it until recently. A friend suggested checking this place out and I will definitely be returning! Parking at Westside Paper was super convenient and free (already a win in my book over The Works which can be a mess sometimes). This open air taco shop is super trendy in decor and has very cute branding. The menu itself is super simple and while they were already out of some items like guacamole and chicken, I still really enjoyed everything I got. My friends and I split the chips and salsa trio. Loved the tomatillo and smoky chipotle salsas and dang, the yellow salsa had some lingering HEAT to it! I ended up getting an asada (beef) taco and a hongos (mushroom) mulita (cheesy taco). They were absolutely delicious!! The beef was cooked perfectly and I loved the cheesiness of the mulita. They were so simple street tacos but done well. This is gonna be a new go-to spot for sure!!

Really upset I didn't know about this place sooner. We came here for dinner before heading to elsewhere brewing and it was fantastic. Super simple menu and great prices. They were out of chicken and guacamole but we made do. Got the chips and salsa which were delish. I got 2 asada tacos and a asada Mulita and just wow. So simple yet so effective. The salsas add something to it and it's just a great combination. Looking for some good Mexican steer food this is the place to come.

We really enjoyed the tacos here - they had meat options and vegan options! The salsa was spicy and delicious. We like that they made the tortillas fresh which is always a plus. The servers were really nice and helpful. Good vibes and plenty of parking.

TLDR: If you like authentic tacos, come to El Santo Gallo and order the El pastor and steak! Very clean, average pricing, but quality homemade tortillas made with love!El Santo Gallo isn't just a meal, it's a fiesta! Authentic Mexican music, friendly staff, and clean interior. Savory pollo, smoky carne asada, and flavorful el pastor tacos are my favorite! Attentive service and traditional touches make this a must-visit for an unforgettable Mexican experience. ¡Olé! 5 stars! Sb: They also offer Jarritos & alcoholic beverages in the fridge!

Tasty but expensive. These are street tacos for shy of $5 each. I've eaten my fair share of tacos in Texas and this compares.

Great tacos and mulitas at El Santa Gallo. Soon to be my new spot for street tacos and hand fried chips. I came on opening night for a free Al pastor taco and quickly got back in line to pay for my Hongos taco (grilled mushrooms) and pollo mulita. They had a DJ tonight who had a really fun set that had us dancing in line and a nice crowd. Come for the great authentic Mexican food and stay for the multicade filled with all your childhood favorite games!

If you haven't been to Westside Paper then you're missing out! I'm so happy this is right in my backyard! I stopped by on a Friday evening to grab a bite to eat. Mexican food is my go to so I was excited to try this restaurant. I was helped right away and ordered 2 chicken tacos with guacamole. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes. It was everything I didn't know I needed. I ordered my tacos on flour tortillas. The chicken was seasoned to perfection. All 3 salsas were yummy and paired perfectly as toppings for my tacos. The guacamole was well seasoned also! I will definitely be back!

First offI need to go again today I haven't had tacos like these in a very long time. Matter of fact, it seems like I've only had tacos this good in LA. So I was filled with joy to have another affordable, delicious, and authentic taco place to frequent closer to home.

I'm excited to see this spot open at Westside Paper! I visited for the first time to check out their opening night. The plaza itself has few open retailers so far, but from the looks of it, it'll be a nice place for families to shop, eat and hang out. The same chef/owner of Palo Santo nearby is behind this new taqueria.I liked the decor and vibes of the place. They didn't have prices on the menu on opening night, but I was told tacos are $4.50 each. I know $4-5 tacos are a norm in this city with the high price of rent, but it's too much for 3-4 bites. It's hard to say no to tacos, when made right though! They also have some specialty tacos (like the cheese crust tacos and birria), which I'm guessing are going to be more like $5+ per taco. They have an open kitchen, so you can see them make the tacos, which is neat. They have a cool contraption that rolls out the tortillas, cuts them, and an employee slides them on to the flat top grill. Ok, I guess I'm a little less mad at the price of the tacos since the tortillas are fresh and the al pastor comes off the spit. There's limited seating inside; I sat at the bar. There's also a couple tables and high tops outside.Parking: free at Westside Paper, WHEW!!!
