El Sabroso Hot Dogs

I come here quite often. I work down the street but after getting harassed by the low budget security guard I will never be back.

Tacos were a disgrace. This was my first and last time here. $3 a taco with a smear of meat. I might as well have asked for an onion and cilantro taco. Not exaggerating.

I'm being sooooo nice for giving 2 stars. Against my better instinct I decided to give this place a shot. I figured I'm not very high maintenance and don't tend to care if the employees aren't all smiles, their wages aren't as high as an In-n-out employees so I wasn't expecting superb customer service. I feel this place is best described with a Pros and Cons list:Pros: 1.The nacho cheese on their nachos was fantastic. Don't get your hopes up, it's definitely canned cheese but it's creamy and yummy and had me feeling nostalgic about ballpark nachos during their prime. 2. The cabeza was tasty. I've rarely has bad cabeza though, so nothing to brag about. Cons: 1. The lady that helped me was in a BAD mood. Now again, you don't even have to smile at me for me to buy your food. You just have to not be a total c*nt. She gave me sooo much attitude for asking the price of the tacos and continued the attitude throughout the transaction. Which leads to con #2...2. Are you f'ing serious? $2.75 for a mini taco? And a skimpy one at that? They were WAY overpriced. I've had tacos twice the size that were MUCH more tasty with homemade tortillas for $2.50 (see Tacos Sahuaro for some dank, pricey but well worth it tacos).3. I should have known that a place with no prices on their menus would be a rip off. For all I know she changed the price on me because she was upset I asked. I guess I'll never know. 4. Their nachos are small for the price. They are some ballpark stadium prices for sure. 5. Their carne asada was AWFUL. Probably the worst I've had since I stupidly tried a Filibertos. If it wasn't for the cheese I probably would have thrown them away. Needless to say, I ate around the meat. Would I come here again? Hell no. Would I recommend them? Maybe to someone I didn't like. Honestly, I'm from LA so my taco standards are high and I wouldn't eat here if they dropped the prices. The food was good. The service left a lot to be desired.The servers were so worried about their social media they didnt pay any attention to us. When we finally flagged someone down to request attitional drinks, she left before I finished placing my order, which resulting in having to flag her down again to finish my order. I had to ask for a box and the bill multiple times before finally getting it. I got the sense that i was an unwanted guest, instead of a paying client. It used to have wonderful service when the owners were there. But now the employees dont seem to care.

Hot dogs were okay. Service was okay . Nothing special . If you want good Sonoran hotdogs travel down the road by 35th Ave and Thomas. Really good hotdogs there, probably won't be coming back to this spot.

Service is horrible. My family and I waited 20-30mins for our order, meanwhile the server had placed our order on the counter and never said anything to us and talked to us like we were the dumb ones. Edit: just got home to eat my quesadilla and both guacamole sauces are horribly rotten.

Gave me food poisoning... never again. I had the Sonora hot dog. Now I'm traumatized. Never had food poisoning before

Unfortunately this place used to be my favorite. The food and salsas are delicious. But the service has gone down hill very quickly. The two men who serve the place are horrible at what they do. No customer service they don't pay attention to what order people come in, they rude and low key homophobic. Yes this place is not a fine dining experience but still. It used to be have great service before. The prices are RIDICULOUS. A taco de tripa $4 EACH. Small tortilla too. This place has lost my respect.

All the negative reviews here are correct. Only cause it was 11 pm and i thought taco bell wouldn't be more satisfying, i was wrong. Menu is all very pricey asked for a lengua burrito it came "with everything" dont offer rice n barely any beans lol. The tortilla is really good thats it. The tortilla was wrapped like twice around the meat thats how thin it was. The burrito and most likely tacos are carried by the red hot salsa. Literally will dodge all locations of this place.
