The food, service and prices here are excellent. I commented to my wife that this was the best service I have ever received in any restaurant in my 55 years. The building isn't the greatest but that is not high on my priorities.

Food always very good & service is excellent. We've tried several Mexican restaurants in the area, Hendersonville & Gallatin but always come back to El Rey's which does not disappoint.

This restaurant definitely gets an A+. Price is good. Flavor is good. Service is good. Clean restaurant. Great decor. Definitely will be back. video review coming soon.

Had dinner there last night and it was one of the best meals we have had. Everything was fresh and the service was great! I had the fajita burrito and was perfect and beans were fantastic. I are way you much! We'll be back!

Got the fajitas texanas and beef chimichanga to go. The service was clean, fast and friendly. The salsa portion was larger than I have had at other Mexican restaurants in to go orders; although it was lacking flavor sadly. My fajitas were very bland but they did have plenty of shrimp compared to other restaurants. I went home and seasoned them more so that they were more palatable. They also gave two packs of flour tortillas to go with the fajitas; most restaurants only give one. My mother's beef chimichangas were a little tough and mediocre as far as flavoring. I probably wouldn't eat her again; might come back to just try the margaritas.

Just ate there, the service was a 5, they were great and attentive.We didn't enjoy the food. It all tasted bland and like it came from a package.The chips were good, salsa wasn't great, queso we liked.We also liked the authentic decor. Cool place overall, great service, if food was improved it would be a great place to dine :)

I have tried this place off and on. One time I ordered out and found a dead coach roach on my food bag. Ended up giving it another chance 5 months later and this time we ordered out and there was an short female employee reaching in their chip container grabbing a chip breaking it in half and eating one half and putting other half back. She did it like 4 or 5 times. Foods pretty good.

Great lunch!!Fast service. I had chilaquiles with steak. Really good. I'll give that dish an 8. It was a little different that the original. Still great flavor. Also chilaquiles are served with beans not rice. Again, great flavor. Next time I'll make sure to tell them how I like them. Mi micheladas with Negra Modelo were delicious. Manager was on top of the tables. Nice flow. Thank you.

The food and crew were fantastic! My food was brought out so fast & the staff was so helpful!

Fast friendly service. The salsa and cheese dip are the best in town. Great place to enjoy with family or friends.
