Asked for a receipt 3 times. She called me rude. She didn't want to print it out then said I asked rudely. If you don't beg on your hands and knees for a receipt, you will be called rude lmao. Guess they didn't like me because they didn't put pineapple on my tacos either. El patron is down the street with good service. I will never come back to this terrible taco truck.

This is a food truck which a huge parking lot and some seating. I got the Tostada de Ceviche and it was jam packed full of fresh fish and ceviche. Definitely ended it a lot. I also got the Mango aqua fresca, it was a bit too sweet for me. The food and drink came out pretty quickly. And the tables were really clean!

This food truck is an absolute hidden gem tucked behind the Best Buy at Mira Mesa. The service is quick and the prices are so affordable. The tacos are absolutely packed with flavor and I loved the Gringa, which was gigantic and loaded with al pastor!

August Stop 51This is a local food truck that stops by Mira Mesa quite often in the evenings! Honestly, it is one of the best tacos I have had in this area. We ordered at the truck and they called our number! There are little tables nearby with salsas on each table. We got two tacos (steak and chicken), a gringa (adobado open face quesadilla), and the mixed fries! The tacos are great in their own regard, but the gringa is a go to for us. The flour tortilla with the cheese is great, but the meat really shines in this dish! The fries are also a favorite with loads of meaths, cheese and sauces on top. Would recommend every time!

This is the first food truck on my Taco Tuesday tour. It is located in a random parking lot in Mira Mesa. On their instagram, it says they open at 5:00 p.m. but that may be inconsistent because on the day I visited, they were not yet open at 5:30 p.m.Service is very quick and friendly. Their baseline prices are already very reasonable, but their Taco Tuesday deal is even better.$1.50 per al pastor taco on Taco Tuesday $0.75 convenience fee for credit cardThe tacos are mini-tacos, but I think the amount of meat is very appropriate for size of taco and for sure generous for the Taco Tuesday price. Apologies for having no photo, I ate the tacos too fast!!They had a green salsa that was quite delicious. I actually didn't use it on my tacos (they were already flavorful), but instead used it on a burrito I got from a different restaurant. There is seating for those that want to sit and eat. I took my order to-go. Lots of free parking !

Great place to grab some tacos on the weekend. We have been here twice so far. Very good customer service. The location is a little hidden though. They park in the lot next to the Best Buy. Right next to the Goodwill donation area. The tacos are very tasty. A little skimpy on the meat, but the flavor is there for sure. I like the little pieces of pineapple on every Al pastor taco. The trompo is right by the window and you can see them cut the meat off. First time trying a gringa. It's basically an open quesadilla with meat. We've seen them on the menu at alot of places in the Yucatan tourist areas but never tried one until now. The quesadilla was cooked face down to get a cheese crust. Then they top with meat, onions/cilantro, and pineapple pieces. It was delicious! There are salsa bottles at the tables. The white one is a garlic crema and the red one is the regular salsa. They go really well together on the food. Horchata and Jamaica for drinks. Self service. The Jamaica is pretty good. We didn't try the Horchata. Overall, this place is pretty good.

Do you want to know why I appreciate this taco truck? Because they enjoy feeding everyone. The taco truck is only here on Saturdays and Sundays, and I believe it is in Poway on other days. The owners and staff are really wonderful! I really value how attentive they are. I've come here several times, and one time they noticed I was cold and moved the space heater to my table. Another time, they noticed me spilling taco juice all over the place and offered me extra napkins without asking. These small gestures of kindness are becoming increasingly scarce in the world. The Gringa tacos are my favorite item to order. It's enormous, delicious, and fulfilling. According to legend, there was a Gringa who requested a flour tortilla with meat and cheese every day. That's all. That's what they told me, haha. I thought, "That sounds like me, but I'm not a Gringa."

My fave taco truck by my house in Mira Mesa! I always catch them on Instagram when they're gonna be open; cheap and good eats! They do put pineapple on their menu items, and I'm not a usual pineapple fan on my food but it's so good :)
