Used to be a good place to eat. The company totally slaughtered the rewards program so you can spend money there for nine months then they give you a free churro which is like one doughnut & NOT a fancy donut. The prices on the food have nearly doubled & the portions have gotten smaller. The guacamole has zero avocado in it. It's like mashed cilantro with parsley flakes in some water, green paste, that is the same color as guacamole. It's a joke. I'm surprised they are still in business.

Well...I don't think this chain gives coupons anymore. Now, if I want the average food, I must pay full price, but I still only feel good eating here with coupons. The most recent chicken tostada salad was nearly the same as the others, but double the price for $10 and change.

I love the food but today I ordered a burrito and Almost sliced my mouth open with a big bone. Management. Please make sure your crew is not putting bones in your burritos and salads. This also happened when I got a tostada salad couple months ago, but it wasn't as big.

Great option if you're in a hurry. Their bowls are a quick lunch option. The drive thru is super tight so if you're driving a full sized anything you may want to walk in instead.

My son and daughter-in-law went to the restaurant in Tempe, AZ Mills. I have never seen chicken from there look so overcooked in my life, it was almost like it was leftover chicken from days ago! Even the thighs were as dry as the breasts, there were burnt legs, I'm so disappointed, I will never eat at an El Polo Loco again!!! Im so pissed!!!

What is happening???? Portion sizes are shrinking, prices are up, employees are cranky,... Our 16 piece meal was $40 +tax. The breast were smaller than what I purchase at the grocery store. I was not given my full order and didn't notice until I got home. (I live 6 miles away.) They're alleged "family" size salad is smaller than a premixed bag of salad and it costs $7. Needless to say, I called to advise them of the shortage. The worker was curt and demanded I return for the 4 pieces. Didn't happen right away because I drove 10 minutes one way.
