Zia Comics

A unique and interesting experience.One of those downtown type places that is quaint and attractive to the area. Even the workers were unique types of people. They vibed with the ambiance and themes. They truly love comics and anime. There is a room completely dedicated to anime, figurines, books, and collectibles.Pinball machines, dungeons and dragons ..... all the stuff you can imagine. They even sell the figurines and paints to create your own characters. My only complaint - there were some explicit covers on things. So although for the most part it's kid friendly. You will have to explain some things to your children after visiting. The prices are fair and the items for purchase are unique. Definitely stop in if you are downtown but be forewarned about the explicit material.

Friendly staff and nice place to walk around. Hopefully, next time they have more of a variety of graded CGC comics. looking to add to my collection 9.9 and 10s

Very nice store located down town. Nice selection of booster packs and some boxes. They have a few precon decks as well. If yo are looking for singles they do not have any. Nice and friendly staff. I do recommend coming here. My daughter and I really like coming here. Tons of other games as well. As their names states, a wonderful selection of comics too. My daughter and I normally just stick to their games.

We came across Zia comics as we were checking out local businesses near the main square in Las Cruces. This place is huge, and has a lot of offer. There's an arcade, an area for groups to play games, t-shirts and other gear, comic books, anime figures, and more! After you're done shopping you can even grab some ice cream before heading out! The merchandise is good quality, and reasonably priced (that's a hard combination to find). I wish my son was with me because he would have loved this place. I went in to see what I could find for him. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and even made some great suggestions. I had a great shopping experience. Wish we had one of these places in San Antonio. Definitely would recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

So, I was making a long drive from Texas to California - and decided to stop in Las Cruces. After driving by The Largest Chili Pepper (look it up) I decided to see what the downtown area had to offer in terms of gifts to bring home to my family. Boy, am I glad i stopped at Zia.This place is huge! There are comic books, sure - but also there's a video arcade in the back, several rooms of board games (or tabletop games) tons of wearable merchandise, posters, action figures, statuettes, plush toys, books... just about anything you need.And they sell ice cream.What more could you ask for. I'm so bummed I don't live closer - I would be in here all the time. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

Las Cruces has one of the best comic book stores imaginable. And they have way more than just comics; selling everything from collectibles to board games that you can't find anywhere else period. Their staff is very knowledgeable and Zia often hosts special events, classes and signings. Even through the pandemic they have found ways to keep the latest comics in the hands of its customers and have gone way beyond expectations. If you are into comics, gaming, or pop culture this is a one stop shop so be sure and check it out!

I only give 2 on this one. I found that if you are interested in a format/ game that the staff does not really care about (MTG) you really get treated with bad customer service. I get attitude and snark comments when discussing mtg. Primarily from the younger gentleman that works there. The owner is not so bad and the female will really engage if it's about comics (she is best option with regards to service). One incident was I was promoting the game of magic to one of their patrons and all he (the younger male) could do was bad talk the game, myself, and the products. * ***note***they sell both MTG singles and sealed products. Today I called and asked about FNM events and who ever answered was short, did not answer my question as to what time it started, and hung up. Customer service really needs a fine tuning.

God I love this place . Comics you wouldn't think of, and ones your embarrassed to ask for all in alphabetical order.

Great store. Staff was friendly and attentive. Good selection of comics and the game room was a cool addition to the store. Came in to look at there 40K section and it was okay, probably great by Las Cruces standards. If I'm in the area again I will for sure come back by!

just nowNEWStay away from this place. I have been there 4 times and all four times I have left upset by their customer service. It's almost like it bothers them when you ask a question. Today, I asked if an item was available. A young lad was helping me, and a lady that was there as well, just cut him off and said if it's not there we don't have it. I said her customer service needed a little work, I got a snarky apology. No one in my family will ever go there again.
