Zarges Animal Clinic

I have taken my dogs here for several years. I have never had a bad experience. They have taken great care of my animals.

After coming to this clinic for my pups(6wks) first shots they contracted parvovirus. The puppies have been super healthy and have never been outside before getting any shots or even after( didn't want to risk illness) when I called to schedule I asked for pricing on 1st vaccines and deworming, they told me the total price and that is what I paid however I reviewed the receipt and it does not say they were dewormed I have now found worms in my pups stool. So now we have pups with parvo AND worms !!! Thanks a lot Zarges. If you want to possibly save your pets life DO NOT come to this so called "clinic". I went elsewhere to get my pup treated after realizing the place that they probably got the virus from was from the clinic. I was not gonna give them a penny more for possibly killing my 4 pups.

Do not use this vet clinic! I had an appointment today and it was horrible. They do not respect their client's time. Like a respectful person I showed up to my scheduled appointment 30 minutes early to complete paperwork and intake. This process took less than 5 minutes. They did not get my pet from the car until over 35 minutes past the scheduled appointment time! After this they had me waiting with 100 degree heat outside for over a hour and 15 minutes for a wellness exam that took 5 minutes. The vet tech admitted to me that they purposefully overbook their schedule which is ridiculous. They could have at least asked me if I wanted to reschedule or called me before my appointment to explain they were running late and offer me to come in later. And to top off their poor customer service they tried to over charge me for services they didn't perform. I brought all my pet's previous records and he didn't need shots and tests they said they did. When I confronted them about it and the fact I gave them the paperwork beforehand and told them he had all those previous shots when we adopted him they admitted they did not do those tests and shots and took the charges off. What a scam, this is fraud! I am in healthcare and I know all the precautions given the COVID 19 guidance. For new patients or parents that have questions/ want to accompany their child/ family member they are allowed to accompany the patient to their appointment provided they have PPE. I arrived with a KN95 mask and was denied accompanying my pet. All the current research shows that of both parties are wearing a mask the risk of transmission is negligible. This practice needs to update themselves on their knowledge, be respectful of their client's time, have better communication among staff, and be better managed. I'm sorely disappointed in the lack of ethics and professionalism!

Wesley, my black lab passed a month ago after 14 great years, all the Zarges staff and Dr. Zarges help me and my family with the process but the most important part, Wesley was treated with respect and love on his last moments. I highly recommend this clinic and always be grateful for their kindness.

This clinic provides good care for your pet, however, if they prescribe a medication for your animal I recommend you get the script and have it filled elsewhere: we were charged approximately three times the going rate for a very common nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine for our dog (Rimadyl/Carprofen), and this medicine, which has been on the market for over 40 years, is widely available in generic formulation at a fraction of the cost of the trade variety. Upon questioning about the price, no legitimate reason was provided for the ridiculous mark up.

Have been going to this office for years. They have always treated my dog with care and respect. They have always been very patient with me and my questions. I truly recommend this office for your furry friends needs!!

This clinic has done me and my pet wrong in so many ways. The miscommunication within the staff lead them to charge me more money than what I anticipated and they held my dog hostage until I paid. They harmed my dog physically and took no responsibility for their actions. Lastly they did not chop my dog which was the main reason I was there. Worst clinic ever in my opinion. Establishments like these one would think you are working with professionals and actual animal lovers. I caution anyone considering to take in their pets to this shameful clinic.
