Loved this place! The food, service, and ambiance were great here! My mom was slightly challenged by the amount of spice/heat in every dish, especially the salsa they bring with the chips, but she's sensitive to spice anyway. I enjoyed it and was happy to not have to add extra hot sauce to my meal! The flavor of the enchilada sauce was also more complex than Mexican dishes I'm used to. Maybe a little sweeter? Again, I loved it! The Limonada aqua Fresca satisfied my pregnancy craving immediately and my mom thoroughly enjoyed her margarita.Our server, Hector, was a treat! It was a slower night and we enjoyed chatting with him while waiting for our order to be prepared. The decor was super cute and everything was very clean.

A pleasant surprise that we came across during a lunch with colleagues. Tucked away on Doniphan in a shopping center, just around the corner from other well known dining options in that area of town.The pre meal vegetable soup was a nice start, along with the chips & queso appetizer. I chose the gordita plate and was not disappointed. Three ground beef gorditas with the regular lettuce, tomatoes and shredded cheese. Served with a side of refried beans and rice.Service was a little slow, but not enough to impact the rating (for a one-time occurrence). Didn't get pics this time around - maybe next time.

The albondiga soup absolutely amazing spicy tasty lots of vegetables, well mainly onion and potato but that's all you need right can't go wrong that. Caldo de res perfect amount of beef and vegetables. Only thing missing was the corn but I'm OK with that. Looking forward to eating at the restaurant.

Some things here are great. Like the albondigas and tacos. Today I had Huevos rancheros and not so good. The eggs were covered with a tasteless pico de gallo type sauce that left water all over my plate. The eggs were too runny and the hash browns cold even though I saw the plate being put on the counter and immediately served to me. Not a speck of cheese. been here many times. No more huevos.

Brian , waiter, needs to be more attentive to customers and when he gets the order wrong..to not dump and blame another waiter. Go work somewhere else Brian...if we decide to return..we will for sure request not to have you attend to us.
