We have two older dogs and a recent rescue who is nearly 2 (we think). We appreciate the personalized service that we get from YPS. Grooming is a plus to make this a one stop shop where they know our dogs and greet them by name. We recently engaged Jasmine Contreras for some in home training for our new guy. Jasmine did a great job. She was thoughtful and worked to provide training that was specific to us and our household.

We love this for lace, and more importantly our dogs love going there. They get so excited when we drive up to the building. And I have so much confidence in the way they handle and care for our fur babies. I would not hesitate to recommend them for either daycare or boarding

I take my pup Hugo to Your Pet Space twice a week for daycare and I know he's in good hands! To start, the owner Joy took her time to answer all my questions and give me a tour. I love that they put dogs together that are similar in age, temperament, and size. I also chose them because they are open on Sundays and do not require neutering for males until 1 year. Oh and because it's indoors, which means my pup always comes back to me nice and clean. I also like that they wipe down pups upon entry and exit (smells fresh! not to mention good for cleanliness). Lastly, Joy and Dave (owners) have continued to be responsive and communicative amid the pandemic we are all experiencing. I'm very grateful to have Your Pet Space as a resource for my pup.

My new puppy was growing fast and needed a lot of exercise, more than I could provide him, to be worn out. I started searching for a doggie day-care center that would work for my little Yorkie puppy. Your Pet Space never puts the dogs in kennels, has indoor, separately fenced play spaces based on dog size. The owner told me they would have a sheet like pre-school, listing what he had done, what he had eaten, etc. each day. They can pick up and drop off your dog, for a fee, and they even had someone finishing a grooming class. I started bringing him there once a week. I had my puppy's first grooming done there. The man forgot I said 'puppy cut' so his hair was no shorter and conditioner wasn't used. The dog wash system is the latest thing, no shampoo, etc. Then he started having all these white flakes like dandruff. The last time he went there he seemed intimidated when I picked him up. I called the next day but they said they weren't aware of any unusual event. I never received one daily sheet of his activities. I learned Yorkies develop dry skin easily and thought a well-trained groomer would know of special needs by breed. His submissive attitude the last time was enough. I was sorry to leave the many services offered, but then again we didn't really receive those services.

After looking at many other boarding facilities in the area, we toured Your Pet Space at the recommendation of our dog walker. We were thrilled to know our Golden Retriever Lou would not be confined to a cage for many hours a day and that she would be surrounded by other dogs and humans at all times. What started out as occasional boarding has now progressed to almost daily day care (we both work long days and Lou has tons of energy to expend). Joy and Dave are very accommodating and their attention to detail is amazing. They transport our dog to and from the facility on a regular basis and I can tell Lou is very happy and comfortable with them. Knowing that Lou is happy and well cared for while we're at work or out of town gives us peace of mind and we plan to use Your Pet Space for all of our daycare and boarding needs!

An absolutely amazing facility! It's run by very knowledgeable, dependable, friendly folks who are animal lovers. I have trusted them on many occasions with my animal friends, and I will do so again.

My beloved bulldog, Rosebud, goes to this facility for Doggy Daycare each day I work. Since I work 16 hours/day, they pick Rosebud up at my house, take her to Daycare and bring her home in the evening. She loves to go to Your Pet Space. Rosie gets excited each time she sees Joy or Dave. She is loved by the owners and their employees. I am reassured that she is not in a crate for the long hours. I have a new member to the family and she will be going to Daycare as soon as she is old enough to attend. The owners are strict about the dogs having vaccinations and behave right for the safety of all the rest of the dogs. I would recommend this business to all who want to have their four legged family members cared for.

We have two dogs, 3 and 5, who started going to Space camp 2 days a week. Our youngest was adopted during COVID-19 and didn't get much socialization with anyone except his siblings. We saw steady, slow progress with each day and his interaction and obedience continue to improve. His older brother, Seamus, needs different attention and a slower, gentler approach and the staff interacts with him in a way that brings out the best in him too! They look forward to going and I look forward to getting their pictures with playgroup friends and the progress report cards every day. We've also used the boarding services and the same care is shown to them when they need to be away from us. We previously visited local facilities and while nothing was wrong with any of the other services, YPS fit our needs. The dogs love the staff and are excited to see them. Many are NMSU students studying in the animal sciences and love to see how they get hands-on work with our four-legged family. Thanks to the whole team at YPS!

Not good, not recommended. They are after money, not proper care of your pet. We called to cancel 2 full weeks ahead of reservation date and they kept our deposit - several hundred dollars - when they clearly had time to re-book. We are 'allowed' to use our money for future reservations. What kind of business pulls this nonsense these days? Plans are not allowed to change? Read the contract carefully folks - they clearly have their bank account, and not your pet, as their priority.

Stopped using Your Pet Space a year ago after my daughter's dog boarded there for a month. The dog lost 15 lbs that month and left with bacterial diarrhea that, per his vet, can be caused by malnutrition. Upon our complaints, it was learned that the dog was receiving 1/3 the amount of food that he needed. The owners never called my daughter to clarify how much he should be fed as I had instructed them to do. If there were any questions regarding the dog my daughter was only a phone call away. Would not trust them again.
