Yellow Cab

Preparing you wallet to pay where you go owner and taxi driver get you there and don't mess with you paying gets you tour destination. He goes with in reason where you want to go. The person is nice and energetic.

1 star is too many! I was traveling with a group of 5 adults. We asked if there was a van available for 5 adult passengers and were told yes. The dispatch would not give us an ETA, just that they would be there soon. After a half-hour of waiting, we called back to get an ETA and the dispatch was very rude. When the taxi arrived, it was a car, not a van. I asked the driver if there was a van available, because we requested a van because 5 adults aren't going to fit in car. He was very abrasive with me. He told me, " you all get in now. 1 in front, 4 in back. You will all fit!" If it wasn't so late, 10:30pm and if we hadn't been working all day we would have made other arrangements! We squished in. We were so squished, we all know each other a little more personally than we thought we would. When I asked how much the fare was, he spoke where I had to ask him to repeat the total twice and then seemed bent out of shape because I couldn't hear him. I work in customer service and myself and my co-workers were very disappointed with the service we got. The trip wasn't safe.

Call ahead! Way ahead I suppose. I waited 25 mins and then another cab company called to say they'd be another 8-12 minutes. I actually had to hitch a ride to the airport to avoid missing my flight. Be straight up when your customer calls, if you don't have a cab available just day so and I'll call my next preference.

If I could give no star I wouled! Called and driver said he would be at palace Inn to pick us up in 25 minute! Never showed! Called back again and was told will send someone else out! Never showed! I used Jessie taxi and he showed up like he said he would! Yellow cab sucks!!!!

I recently had an early flight, so i called Yellow Cab to pick me up at 7:15 the next morning. I was a bit nervous as I had no idea how reliable they'd be. To my relief, did they not only remember my appointment, but the cab arrived the exact minute I had specified. I was impressed.The ride to the airport was fine and the rates were reasonable. The driver was friendly but not chatty, which was fine by me. I arrived at the airport about 15 minutes later, in plenty of time for my flight.

0 STARS would be more appropriate for yellow checker cab in EL Paso. This is the worst customer experience I have had in decades. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, UNRELIABLE, takes no ownership or pride in their service delivery. The female dispatcher was extremely unprofessional and the "Boss Joe" would be better suited in a profession that did not include "Customer Care". If you are handicap and reserve a cab it will never arrive. My first experience went relatively well, on time, driver was professional. Second experience was a "NO SHOW" requiring a missed appt fee without even a "Im Sorry" from the dispatcher. Third experience (as there were no other Cab company available) was the WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I have ever had. Needless to say, the cab was a NO SHOW and another Drs appt missed. I highly recommend that you NEVER use YELLOW CHECKER CAB in El Paso if you care about reaching your destination on time. Call ANDALE or BORDER CAB. Much more professional and reliable.

The website says all major credit cards accepted. After picking up my 78 year old father to take him to the hospital the driver told him effective 3/1/16 they no longer accepted credit cards. I called Yellow Cab & was told effective 3/1/16 all drivers are supposed to have credit cards readers on their phones & that this driver just wanted cash in his pocket. I paid the dispatcher with my credit card & was given a "generous" 15% discount for my trouble. Way to go Yellow Cab for upsetting a senior citizen trying to get to the hospital with chest pains.

I called this cab company to pick up a friend who had too much to drink. They first asked me who was going to pay for the cab. After I said she would, they denied me the service. I thought El Paso cab companies are supposed to be there to pick up anyone, especially if they had too much to drink. I then offered to pay and he still denied me the service and gave me the number to another cab company. This is definitely a good way to keep drunk drivers off the street. I give this cab service zero stars.

I had a great taxi driver that took me to the outlet mall and I was all the way in the east side and I needed to make it and meet my friends I was in such a hurry the cab driver was so patience with me I got there very fast I was really cool and it was inexpensive so that was a help I recommend if u need a ride next time call yellow cab
