I have driven by this place hundreds of times, yes hundreds. It is hard to tell since the building in an enclosed area of several other buildings so it is hard to notice unless you are walking up to the establishment. You can drive by a thousand times and never know this place exists. So how did I end up here? Well, I took my niece in for a check up. She had to get her eyes dilated so you know she will be blind trying to drive home from this place. While I wasn't a client I was able to sit here for an hour, listen and look around. So as you can expect you will see glasses available but I was deeply impressed by the set up and the jovial attitude of the workers. Everyone was in good spirits. They were laughing and telling jokes but still got their work done. The arrangements of the glasses could not have been better. This place made me want to upgrade my glasses that I rarely wear but should. My eye site is not that bad since I can read some things without squinting. What caught my eye was the Oakley set up. I do need a pair of Oakley sunglasses and a prescription pair would be even better. So this place is on my radar if I ever do decide on a check up or decide to splurge on a pair of Oakley sunglasses. Don't get me wrong there are other name brand glasses such as Ray Ban but I am more familiar woth Oakleys since I have worn them for more than a decade. So if you need a set of glasses, make sure you stop by. I think an appointment would be best since this place gets fairly busy unless you are fine waiting. Getting glasses sounds boring but I bet this place will make getting new glasses or even a check up, fun. Put this place on your radar screen and save for future reference. You will not be sorry.

Terrible service! I put up with her terrible service for a couple years because I was too lazy to go anywhere else. However, after my last visit I told her it would be my final visit. I told her she was condescending and I no longer wanted her service. I'm seriously surprised she has any customers. Also, her new office is awful! The set up is so weird and uncomfortable. The chairs in the waiting area are right under the check in window. Who ever set that up did not think that one through. I even tripped after checking out. Save yourself the terrible mood you're going to be in after you leave this place.

I would avoid this place at all cost. Unless you like the dr to insult you about everything she can possibly think of. Her prescription is way off. Her staff is rude . Looking a way to file a lawsuit against her company

Dr. Wong is great but the office help is anything but helpful. They do not do their job. Always giving me the run around. Everytime trying to tell me I don't have insurance, not once but 3 times ,when I do have my policy in order... WORST part IS I've been here twice and had to verify my insurance for them both times. If you don't verify it for them they want you to pay everything out of pocket and they tell you this the day of your appt. Asked for my contacts to be sent to my home to avoid coming to the office and sure enough sent to the office instead of my home.. avoid this place if you can its a waste of time..and money!!

This doctor refused to help me out with glasses I purchased at her office right before Covid. My appt was 3 days expired and she would not grant an extension, however I called her office 5 times in the course of one year to get my glasses fixed and I did not get a return call once. And , they refused to let anyone in their office without an aplpt. But Dr. Wong is happy to take your money. I pleaded with staff to help me fit the glasses I purchased before and were never fitted. They wanted me to buy all new glasses though. Dr. Wong was within earshot and kept totally quiet. Never going there again.

Incredibly condescending and rude. Obviously, she's knowledgeable, but she made sarcastic remarks the entire time regarding my wife's contact habits and then started making jokes about our finances because my wife saves money by wearing contacts for 3 weeks at a time when it should be 2 weeks at a time. Nasty woman. When we spoke with the manager, she immediately went into damage control because she's so use to it. Will never return.

One of the best optometrist in town she always gets my eye prescription correctly and I've never had any issues .

They took their time with me and had very advanced technology. I felt like I had a thorough eye exam and there was no rush to get me in and out.

I like this office a lot and all the ladies there! There are few bad reviews on google, I think they are competition. Dr. Wong is professional but I also enjoy the family friendly feel of the place. Yes she is straight to the point and honest, not sure if that is a bad thing in a doctor. I would prefer if my Doctor tells me the honest truth. Also they worked with my insurance, and they were very honest about the break down of the costs, no hidden fees. Gave me very good and competitive pricing. Hope she, and her friendly staff, sticks around.

I called 8 other places and compared prices, before I went to this place. Nice and clean. The Stuff is very friendly. They did not charged me higher prices when I told them, that I was under EYE MED, like other places do when you order your glasses. (Sears, JC Penney's and all the other places that are recommended by Eye Med, are way too expensive and give you the higher retail price as soon as you tell them your insurance and no store specials count than any more) At J. Wong place I really got the best service and best price in El Paso! I really do recommend this place!
