Made an appointment in December of 2019 and had to cancel and reschedule. The front desk receptionist told me she couldn't reschedule me until the new year and call back then. I did and was told they were no longer accepting new patients and no longer do annual exams! The woman proceeded to state that she could refer me to other providers in the office, but didn't know if they were taking new patients or doing annuals. Might I also add that it is impossible to get ahold of this office I called 3 times the day prior no answer and had to call 4 times today just to get this terrible answer!! Save your time and call RGMG

I'm currently expecting. My last two babies were born in California, so I had no idea where to turn to for pregnancy care. A few different people recommend the women's medical associates to me, so I decided to go with them. They're awesome. At my obgyn's office in California, I'd have to wait for at least an hour to be seen. It was an all day event. So far the longest I've had to wait is 20 mins. Today I was in and out in under 40 minutes. The nurses and doctors are so knowledge and kind. The receptionists are always nice. I'm very blessed to have found good care for myself and my baby to be!

I called to see if I could do an interview with Dr. Callaghan since she was recommended by one of my friends who gave birth recently. I called the number at the bottom of their website, it was a wrong number. For a professional medical website I felt that was not a good start. I found another number in the make an appointment part of the website menu, it states they are taking new patients. I called, it appeared the call was answered then promptly hung up. I called again and it was answered with, "please hold." I waited and when the receptionist returned I asked about meeting with Dr. Callaghan and she curtly responded they are not taking transfers. I'm not for another 5 months. That was the whole call! It was the equivalent of having the door slammed on my face. The reason I wanted to meet this doctor is I heard that this practice has a designated doctor for your birth versus a round robin at the place I'm going to. That seemed like a plus if your really love the doctor. But I'd be terrified of going here and then going into labor and calling the doctor to have the receptionist disregard me during my most vulnerable time. It's like a medical bouncer or something and I wasn't cool enough to get into the club. I've been helping for almost 15 years. I love to write positive reviews. I actually try to avoid writing a review if it's not going to be positive and you can review my history to see this. I'm terrified of the phone service and website from this practice and of the attention to detail here is so limited or dysfunctional, it scared me to think about what other areas the attention to detail might be lacking. This review is specially for the website and phone service as the 'bouncer' did not let me into the 'club' to know more to make a decision.

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Women's Medical Associates. The staff is very helpful, kind, and nice. The facility is new and very clean. Waiting times are short for the most part, and they have an organized system in place. I've only seen a midwife so far and she has been terrific, although she will be moving to another practice soon. Overall, I highly recommend this clinic for prenatal care.

Despite my own recent not so great experience there, the practice came highly recommended for OB, so we elected for my daughter to go there. Our experience with them has been CHAOTIC to say the very least. The providers we have seen so far except for the first one that we really liked, have brushed off the concerns we have. The second one we saw was downright rude, and on two occasions now, I have had to call back with continued issues ONLY to have them call me back and say we shouldgo to the emergency room, where she WON'T likely be seen my an OB. THEN we get told to follow up with the provider again, where we hear something different than at the ER. Currently evaluating our options to move her elsewhere at this point.

Dr. Pou and Nurse Amy are awesome. Dr. Pou is the best doctor I have found since we moved here from Denver two years ago and we have tried several. Both he and Amy took very good care of my daughter. They were thorough, caring and professional. We would highly recommend.

in Feburary I went into the clinic as a first time prenatal patient. The office would not allow me to have my husband present (due to covid) BUT I informed them of my disability and the need to have support with me!!!!! MULTIPLE TIMES! So I went to a different office but my doctor left and so I had to return to this office to continue care. They called me back stating they would need to talk about me being a patient there stating because I did not continue with them at first. This company did not recognize that I have a CERTIFIABLE disability and the nurse Stephanie was not receptive to my needs as a person with special needs! I could not believe how this company has disregarded me as a patient because of my disability. SHAMEFUL!!!!!!! All persons should be able to receive care as needed and they did not seem to care. SO BEWARE!!!!!!

I have lived in Las Cruces for over 15 years. Dr Kemer was my MD until she retired. Then I started seeing Kathleen Callaghan, MD. I am an established patient..or thought I was?? I really liked Dr Callaghan as a dr.I just called to schedule my bi-yearly exam today Jan 14, 2020 with her. I was advised they are already booked for the year & they do not do yearly anual exams anymore..the office recommended I use another facility. The office referred me to a Dr Juarez or Dr Oushy. These are family practice MD's. Not OB-GYN MD's. I am feeling Very Disgusted! Now I need to find new OB-GYN drs!!Grrrr!

I was seeing Dr. Ratliff just about a year ago for my first pregnancy. I did not feel welcome or respected by her or her medical assistant. I was abnormally ill and it was brushed off as no big deal and I was literally told to "tough it out" by the MA. I transferred care to another OBGYN and was immediately taken off work, put on bed rest, and required to visit weekly to ensure my baby was safe, due to abnormal labs and sickness. I developed preterm contractions and I almost delivered at 26 weeks, with good care. Had I just continued to "tough it out" with minimal care by Dr. Ratliff and her staff, I'm not sure what would have happened but I don't think it would have been good for me or baby. I really hope they can learn to actually LISTEN to their patients and their symptoms and care for them on an INDIVIDUAL basis and show some more sympathy and compassion.
