The folks at Whitehead Chevrolet helped my wife and I out when our BMW broke down at the Chevron in town with some Drivetrain issues. They took us, as well as our two dogs in (whom were given royal treatment w/ water and pets), and investigated what turned out to be an unexplainable code error that apparently only BMW can get to the root of... Absolutely nothing the folks here could do about it. After housing us, and keeping in communication with us for a couple hours amidst an obviously busy day was truly something out of a good 'ole movie. We left with best wishes and lots of advice as we sent our car back to the dealership.We kid that will we come all the way back to Truth or Consequences from Las Cruces for even our next oil change because of how good these folks were to us.Carry on!

Great small town dealer. We took our 2016 Buick Encore in because it was making a funny sound. We all thought it was the wheel bearing and would be covered by the warranty. It was not the wheel bearing at all. The air dam under the front of the car had come loose and was flapping at highway speeds. O wanted to just remove it, Mr. Whitehead the owner of the dealership explained to me why this would be a bad idea. He gave is our options and when we made our choice he did not try to pressure is into the higher cost option. It is hard to find an honest dealership, much less the owner that will go above and beyond. Thank you Whitehead Chevrolet and Mr. Whitehead!

I spent over 2 hours sitting in Whitehead Chevrolet today only to be told they were not even going to look into the main problem that I brought my van in for. The service desk when I came in was staffed by a guy who had to go to the doctor about an hour into my wait. I had written a list of a few things including an oil change in addition to the MAIN concern of a tiny hiccup I felt a few times in the past week while driving. I went over the list with the first service guy and he felt sure they could work it all in. That guy did not bother to tell me that it would be about 45 minutes before anyone who could simply change the oil would be in. Then a guy named Josh came in to run the service desk. After an hour and a half in which my van never moved, I asked Josh about how long it might be. He said there had been two oil changes ahead of me though I didn't see anyone in the waiting area whom I had not heard describing other issues like an alignment. At about two hours in, they moved my van to the oil change area. About 20 minutes after that, Josh tells me they are not going to even look into the hiccup problem as they don't know what work had been done before. Isn't finding out an unknown cause for a problem the very essence of what real mechanics are supposed to do? Josh was a jerk about it all, unconcerned about my long wait. I asked why the first guy didn't tell me they "wouldn't get into all that stuff," and he flippantly said that the first guy should have. They did change my oil and my receipt said they did the multipoint inspection I had requested on my list -- but there was no coolant added or any such notes so I have little confidence they did it.

The customer service was very poor. The head mechanic and owner's people skills were very rude. They were unable to follow through with any of their promises to service my vehicle. They seem very lax and lazy.
