White Spur Park

I have been going to this park since I first moved to the westside when I was a kid and not much has changed since then and in my option that is a good thing because I remember as a kid this was the BEST park in all El Paso because it looked like a castle to me and now it's my nephews favorite park to come and play! I still venture to this park quite often, even on days without my nephew because it is also a heavily Pokémon Go populated park! So, if you either have children in the family or love to play Pokémon Go or heck even both, this is the park for you!

I love the fact this park has two different parks for different age groups & how interactive it is! Incorporating music into the park was genius and my little one loves it!!! The red swings for mothers with little one or so that those with disabilities can swing is the reason we always come back to this playground, as well as the wall around the play area to keep the little ones from running out of the park!! If you want to bring a little one to a park & feel safe for not only your little one but also yourself this is the park!!!!

This is a magical park for kids to enjoy. I wish people knew how to pick up their trash and watch their language though...

This playground is pretty cool. Thank you yelp for this great find! I took my daughter here and she had a blast. The best part, that its FREE! There is plenty places to sit and shaded areas. I like how they have the decor like castles and dragons and even a toddler area. It is near a railroad track, so it was pretty cool for my daughter to see the train go by.

I took my kids to this park for the playground. It is such an awesome facility, however there was a ton of trash littered about the playground. My in-laws and I cleaned up some of the trash but didn't put a dent in it. The mulch was sparse in some areas and left the weed paper below uncovered. This could be a bad tripping hazard for little kids running around.It's seriously a shame that such a great playground doesn't get the attention it deserves.

Great place for kids to play. My kids enjoyed themselves at the park. I would recommend this park to parents who want to take their kids out of the house and away from their regular park near the house.

This is a very nice and well taken care of park. Kid friendly for both small and older kids. Plenty of running room, shade and parking. Kids play area is fenced in with one entrance. So it's easy to watch kids or hang out at the sitting area near the entrance and watch kids play. It is pet friendly! I highly recommend it for evening family fun.

So cute. Could be better maintained (musical equipment, looking at you!) but my 2 year old couldn't tell the difference. Also, how many parks even have musical equipment?!?! Nice shady areas to eat around and even in the playground area.

It's a nice, clean, small park with a very nice playground for kids. But if you're looking for a place to run without doing circles around a 1/4 mile park, this just isn't the place to go. The overall park is very small, though if you're concerned about safety it is just off a busy road and close to a fire station.
