Whiskey Creek Zocalo

A funky Saloon with live music on the outskirts of Sliver City as well as a nursery, landscaping company It's a family run business with the owner and his wife doing a combination of landscaping food and live music, poetry reading and art. The owner told me that they're trying to create a cultural center. The food focuses on wood fired pizza which they have lots of choices including gluten-free and vegan cheese availability. They serve New Mexico spirits for their cocktails and have rotation of local beers and ciders as well as some cans and bottles. They have cane sugar coke and other vintage pops and juices. It's an outstanding place in so many ways.

The fire roasted pizza was delicious! Wine great and the music was delightful! The violin was so mesmerizing! You deserve to go for some country music and pizza !

I loved being able to order a gluten free & dairy free pizza that was actually good! The local sodas were delicious, especially the root beer, and the regular pizza was also delicious! The open air was so lovely, with a breeze through the space while we still got to keep out of the sun. Spacious, great ambience and friendly staff!

Pizza was great... don't bother with the Sangria ... couldn't taste any wine & the other ingredients not so tasteful either... redo your "recipe"... #1 ingredient WINE...

This place was not for me because I do have so many allergies one of the biggest is everything marijuana related. I know that it is probably not the restaurants fault but had a severe reaction to something or someone around me. The food was alright and the service was acceptable.

Y'all know the deal. This is the best thing to happen to Silver City / Arenas Valley in a SPELL. Get out there!

Great pizza, people and atmosphere. Silver City needs more options for drinks and food and Zocalo fits the bill in style. Love it

Atmosphere good. Ordered a pizza. Over cooked (burnt crust). Not a large variety of beers on tap., only four while they have 12 beers in cans/bottles, should be the opposite. Might come me back. Too much cheese for a thin crust pizza.

We dropped in last night on a whim, thinking about WCZ's pizza. We were not disappointed; it was fresh and hot and chock-full of great ingredients, mostly green chile and mushrooms with cheese. It disappeared pretty darn fast :)The crowd was lively and everyone was having a good time! We left before the open mic musicians started up but we truly enjoyed this wonderful establishment. Hubby likes their porter brew too!

Great pizza... awesome service and super cute location.I hope the add a few more things to menu but it's good food.I also loooove there open Sundays
