I was in the process of building my home when my really old me about West Towne Marketplace being planned. I was thrilled to have shopping and eateries less than two miles away. This shopping center is fabulous; it has roundabouts to help move traffic and there is so much here- a really nice movie theater with a microbrewery and comfy seats, a ramen place, a salad place, Jersey Mikes, Five Guys, a crab and lobster seafood place, all the fast food places, Canes and Boss chicken places, a Freddy's, a huge Walmart with a gas station and good prices, a European Waxing Center, a Postal Annex, Ross, Home goods/ TJ max, Five Below, Cabellas sporting goods, three ice cream/frozen yogurt places, sushi, Pieology, a regular pizza place, Chipotle, Nekter juice bar, a nail place and a lash place...and I know I am forgetting tons! The place is nicely landscaped and well maintained. There are outdoor speakers playing nice music as you stroll around.I am so grateful that they planned an built this. The business need support to stay of course - and I am helping any way I can! I utilize as many of the shops as I can.

This is one of the new features added on the West side. When there is already an outlet shopping center, I couldn't understand the purpose for this new addition. Now that just about everything is set up and businesses have moved in, I get the point and it is a welcomed feature. With all of the new housing development in the area, hopefully this cuts down on traffic to the Mesa and Sunland Park areas which are only minutes away. The West Towne market has a Walmart which is always packed. In addition a Chick-fil-a, McDonalds, Menchies, Starbucks, Ross, TJ Maxx, Cabela's, Sushi Fresh, BOSS Chicken and Custard, Baked Bear, Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, Pieology Pizza, and more stores are opening soon including a movie theater.El Paso is growing so much from the East to the West of the city, some people don't make the trip across town and may not have to with all of the new developments popping up. I just wonder what else is going to occupy the open vacant areas.

This open air marketplace is growing like crazy! Every time I come back, there's a new restaurant or store that's newly opened. The shopping center is big. According to their website, it encompasses more than 500,000 square feet on 63.45 acres of land. It's owned by River Oaks Property, one of the oldest shopping center developers in El Paso. They've been around since 1959! West Towne offers a Walmart, Cabela's and countless restaurants. I want to say the most recent one to open was Silverlake Ramen. They are based in Los Angeles. I hear lots of good things about them by the way. There's also some pizza and sandwich places, sushi, baked goods, Boss Chicken and so much more! Everything looks so clean and neatly organized. You can't miss West Towne, especially if you're on Interstate-10. You would get off on the Artcraft exit. It's way out there/here if you're coming from the eastside. You might get here faster if you take Transmountain Road. Maybe...Definitely check it out if you haven't already done so. I see it expanding even more than it already has in the near future. I'm excited to see what else makes its way to El Paso by way of West Towne.
