The surf here was mediocre (wasn't impressed with the lobster), but the turf was awesome! Probably the best steak in El Paso, and there is some decent competition around. The ambiance is nice (I like the booths), but I was not impressed with our server - she was probably a rookie.Tried the Empanadas (awesome), Ahi Tuna (great), & the cheese (very good) appetizers. If you stick with the steak, you will not be disappointed! Hopefully the other servers are more experienced.

Went with two other colleagues, one gave it a 3.5, one gave it a 2.5, and I settled and gave it a solid 3. Food was just so underwhelming and over salted while the sides were a bit bland. I needed to season the Brussels sprouts a lot because I felt that they weren't well cooked, rather possibly cooked from frozen due to how uneven the cook was. The mashed potatoes tasted a bit "instant" from my one colleague. He got the whole black bass and fought his whole meal not to eat all the bones. Felt that it should have been better seasoned. The sides of asparagus were the largest, stringy, tough, woody asparagus I ever did see, sorry, didn't get a photo of that. Me and the other colleague got the bone in 14oz NY strip. This was a thin 14oz. We both ordered medium rare, her's was perfectly cooked medium, mine was medium leaning med well. I sent it back and they got it right but boy did they slap on more seasoning so the salt lick was real. Seasoning was tasty but I couldn't taste the beef! Saving graces of the meal: the Berry Spicy cocktail, the cream of mushroom soup, and the empanadas. The service was kind, and our waiter gave kind recommendations against a few menu items. Ambiance, felt upscale, cool booths and tables. Overall, not very impressed.

It was a weird night...a little disappointing, but I might return... The ambiance was clean & classy. Took my wife out to celebrate her birthday and I had high hopes about this place. The waitress told us the all the wine bottles were half off so my wife decided on one. Waitress came back and said that particular bottle wouldn't "scan properly" but that she would get us a similar selection...which we found out was a little more than twice the price right as she was about to pop the cork. We politely declined... that was weird. Can't get a manager to fix the scanning problem on the first bottle? No worries... the night was young. We ordered our drinks, appetizers and main courses and were pretty excited about the flavors to come. I ordered a...I think it was called..."rose tonic", which I must say took 10 mins to prepare. Umm when I finally received it, I took a little taste and was surprised to find that it undoubtedly tasted like a strawberry margarita... I didn't want to make a big deal about it, besides, it was pretty ok tasting. However, it was not what I was hoping to receive. The appetizers we ordered were amazing! They were truly quality dishes and I'm convinced that any of them on the menu would exceed expectations. At this time I had notified my waitress that I needed a knife. She said she'd get one right away...fast forward some time and our main dishes arrive. I again remind the waitress about the knife. She said again she'll get one right away. About ten minutes later, I just decided to eat my mahi-mahi with the spoon and fork since I'd given up on the knife lol near the end of my feasting, she finally brought the dang knife oh man. The main dishes we had, like the appetizers, did not disappoint. My wife's steak was heavenly and my own meal was divine itself. I have no complaints about the food quality. Near the end they brought my wife a little piece of cake which I thought was a thoughtful touch...until I noticed they'd added that onto the bill. Would have been nice to know that we were going to have to pay for that before we were served it. Am I wrong? That's weird. She probably would've chosen a different dessert if she knew we'd be paying. The prices were fine. But the experience was a bit of a letdown and just weird at times. The wine thing....the long waits for anything ordered including drinks, the whole fork fiasco and the sneaky cake on the bill thing...just kinda disappointed. I'd like to go back. I'm hoping it was just an off-night for our waitress. I may return and update my review. We'll see.

I ate here tonight and was looking forward to giving this restaurant a second chance. I started the meal with a wedge salad. Honestly, it was ok. The blue cheese dressing was thick and unseasoned. Boring. For the main, I got the roasted airline chicken breast. It also was boring with a B. It is supposed to be sauced with a rosemary, lemon butter, but the chicken was served dry with cold roasted potatoes. It was like going to a fast food place and getting their chicken breast on the side. Dry. Chewy. Warmish. Weso - you disappoint me. I will fervently argue with other El Paso residents claiming this is a good steakhouse. There are much better places in town and this place has not delivered despite two chances.

Came here for the first time as out of towners. Ambiance is gorgeous, we were given a booth on the bar side near the patio door. We came in for a late lunch on Saturday afternoon. There were already a few tables. The bartender was stocking the bar with some new glassware. We started with the steamed mussels which were divine. Many places give you too much broth. The broth was appropriate and the toast points were perfect. I was excited to have a steak in a Josper oven. It really is a big thing and I used to work at a restaurant that had one and used Kiawe charcoal. I opted for the 20 oz bone in ribeye and ordered it med rare. It came out rare, server didn't check back quickly enough so I just ate half of it. We ordered a side of asparagus and she had the Chilean sea bass but substituted Brussel sprouts. We needed salt and I walked to the open kitchen and was asking the cook for salt when the server came from the back and was able to bring salt and pepper. I had a mezcal cocktail and the house margarita. Both were good. She enjoyed her wine. It was annoying that the ambiance was disturbed by a young manager pacing back and forth the front of the restaurant having a disciplinary/pep talk to a young female employee that was maybe not coming into her shift that night. Very unprofessional. Have those conversations in person with another manager present in private. We did get greeted at 4 pm by the senior servers walking through the restaurant. Would come back again to try for dinner with a more experienced server or maybe just for appetizers and drinks. I took my steak home and fried it up in slices to make a breakfast steak sandwich. Not as marbled as I would have liked for a ribeye. Maybe it's our fault we went in between the rush. $180 later, disappointed. Should have gone to Ruth Chris for dinner instead.

Disappointed, Weso was recommended to me by a coworker. I ordered asparagus and the filet. My asparagus was overcooked and my steak although the correct temperature had little sear. I returned my asparagus it was inedible. This place is overpriced. The atmosphere is nice but nothing else. The server brought me bread and walked away before I could ask for utensils. She then realized when she brought my main dish. She never came back to see if I needed a refill on my drink. I ordered the filet and a coke, they removed the asparagus from my bill, the bill was about 45.00 and I gave cash tip, I like cash since I used to be a server. There is parking in the building or street parking. No parking lot. I would not recommend

Bad. I made a reservation for new years and paid in advanced $360 and unfortunately had to cancel for personal reasons, I have spoken to different people and haven't received my money back. Disappointed but not surprised that the people of this town have such a bad customer service and very little work ethics.
