Walnut Canyon Inn

It seems like this hotel recently changed owners and is going through some renovations. The area is a bit of a ghost town.That being said, this is by far the most convenient location to Carlsbad Caverns and the rooms are spacious and clean. It was only a few dollars more expensive than similar motels in Carlsbad and it was worth it to be so close. We also really enjoyed the steakhouse/breakfast cafe. The food was great and inexpensive.
