I usually come here about once a year but they have stayed consistent since opening. Bread always fresh, burger always seasoned and you cant beat whatever the daily special is for $9. I think this is the best burger in town. Voodoo fries or tots are the way to go. I havent eaten in but the service seems legit. The place is big enough to hold a medium size crowd and is decorated "voodoo" style with the skulls and such. No curse here accept wanting to back!

My wife and I love the is place, it's been always really good, but this day we were a little rushed since we had a time crunch for lunch, we've been coming here often and had never really had any issues besides the fact that they usually take a while to make your food, so if you're in a rush order ahead, today it was busier than the usual and we were warned about the delay, we understood and accepted the fact that our food would take 45 min approximately to be made. That was not the main issue, the main issue was that we ordered monster burgers (they're not in any online menu to verify what they contain) but it was supposed to be 3 patties, with cheese and chipotle sauce, again... I might be wrong and these were actually the monster burgers although I'm pretty sure they got our order wrong since everything in our bags was mixed and matched incorrectly.I am very disappointed today, long wait to receive what is 3 slices of turkey ham and a piece of yellow cheese, something my 7 year old niece could make herself. Like I said, I will probably be coming back because all the other burgers have been amazing, today was just a bad day I suppose, I am just really disappointed.

Were regular patrons of Jake's Cafe and REALLY miss it. We had had the burgers before at Jake's and were not that impressed. Cut to today, two-ish years since Jake opened Voodoo Burgers, we were hungry for some REAL burgers. Not the frozen round or square patties at most franchise places, that turn out half raw. We wanted a "real" fresh burger. Lotaburger was sort of our "go to" place for a good burger, but they have gone so far downhill since selling out some 20 years ago. Constantly getting worse. Just couldn't do it anymore. So... we end up at Voodoo Burgers. I already knew from the pics, much less the sign of the times, that "smash" burgers are the thing now, and that Voodoo makes them. "Smash" where the burger is not the round thick patty, but the round thick patty smashed so that the burger sticks out from the bun and has a nice crisp edge to it. The patty cooks better and generally tastes better. I've always been a fan, even though I think the "smash" terminology is kinds dumb. I mean, it's just a burger that isn't perfectly thick and round (or square). So they weren't going to be the same burgers we had before, at Jake's, that were just... ok. So we got the Voodoo burgers. I was glad that the pickles, onions, lettuce, and tomato were not on the burger. For me, the best green chile burger does not have those condiments on it, but did come with it in the "take-out" container (I still ate them, just not on the burger ;) ). Condiments are good, just not on a G.C. burger. We requested the sauce on the side, again, as the sauce would take away from the green chile. And we used the sauce for the fries. The burgers were pretty good. Possibly could have used more cheese. I'm not sure if there was cheese and G.C. in between the two patties or not, they were on top tho. The fries were a bit undercooked. And they seemed to have come from frozen. I seem to remember at Jake's Cafe that the fries were fresh cut. Don't remember if they had fresh made chips or not, but that would be a nice addition! A little pricey, but you get what you pay for - fresh meat, house made buns and sauces. It's a nice location inside. Hard to park as the parking lot can get pretty full. If the front lot is full, there is parking in back, and a breezeway in the middle of the bldg complex to get to the front - so the back parking isn't really far. The place was clean inside and pleasant. I think we will def be back. Not something we would get too often, but occasionally as a treat. Oh, and it MAY take a little while for food. I think we waited MAYBE 15-20 mins. Just because they are burgers does not mean it is "fast food". I'd call it more like a diner that serves burgers. The burgers are grilled fresh! And at least today, by the owner. Worth any wait.

Their burgers are good !! Good quality beef patties. Nice bread. Fries are delicious. Tastes like their stuff is not frozen which I appreciate. The only thing is that the burgers can be higher in price than other burger joints. This is more like a nice place to treat yourself to every once in a while.

I can't believe I've lived here so long and have not ever been to this burger joint. Easily in my top two places for burgers in Las Cruces. I had the Voodoo burger, which came out hot and piled high with very fresh produce. Excellent buns. Dining area very clean, with interesting decor. Server attended to every need in a friendly and caring manner. Bottom line: try this place out.

Ok, I wasn't expecting the burgers to be this good! WOW! A local first responder recommended we try out voodoo Burgers and I was not disappointed! Perfectly cooked with a little char in the edges brought out the juicy taste of this magnificent burger. And let me tell you, the buns were so soft and tasty! If you're looking for a great burger, ya got to try out Voodoo burgers. You will not be disappointed. Oh, and definitely get their seasoned fries!!

I was excited to take my girlfriend here after having a top tier Chipotle Cheeseburger two weeks earlier on a Wednesday. We went on a Saturday, ordering a Green Chile Cheeseburger and their daily special burger, both mid at best. The meat was almostundetectable on the GCCB, with a distinct lack of flavor on the special. I don't know if the line cooks were different on each visit, but the food quality certainly was. How can food quality degrade so quickly, from a 5 star burger to something I was embarrassed that I recommended.
