TLDR: zero stars. run! We used vescovo for years and never had problems; now that it's viva it is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. we noticed the prices skyrocketed and service went into the trash. they broke things they were supposed to fix and had zero customer service about it. while we expect some mark up with a dealership, these jerks mark up parts 100%. fortunately, we found a local independent mechanic who was able to repair what they broke for HALF of what viva quoted us. on my ride to pick up my car from our new independent mechanic, my lyft driver told me that he had recently had a similar horrible viva experience and has heard similar stories from other riders. i've also heard the same from three other non-viva mechanics -- they say they've seen an increase in business because of people leaving viva. viva is out of el paso and doesn't seem to understand that LC is NOT el paso. we don't have the population or turnover that would allow them to continue operating while losing formerly long-time customers. at this rate, they won't be in business here for long and i can't wait til these soulless predators are gone. (no wonder they haven't claimed their bsns on yelp.)

ZERO STARSRun or drive as fast as you can from this Toyota dealer. They will lie to your face about Toyota recommends for scheduled maintenance. They are gouging their customers for the cost of services and will not perform services that would cost less. Since I tow a lot I wanted to change the fluids in the transmission, transfer case, and both differentials. I wanted a drain and fill on the transmission since my vehicle has high mileage. They insisted on doing a transmission flush which isn't recommended for a high mileage transmission due to the risk of blocking the small passages inside the transmission. They refused to offer a simple drain and fill. Their price $220. They wanted $220 EACH for the transfer case and differentials saying it's due to special fluids. There's nothing special; it's common gear oil. Then they tried to con me into a coolant flush for another $220 saying that after the first coolant change at 100K miles it was Toyota's recommendation to change again after 50K. I asked them to show me that recommendation. They couldn't because it doesn't exist.They also said that my service record didn't show a brake fluid flush and change when I had a full brake overhaul done less than 10K miles ago at another dealer. They wanted $200 for that too. All of the prices didn't include "shop materials and supplies".Interesting too that if I was going to accept all their recommended services and prices ($1380 plus shop materials, supplies, and taxes and "fees") they could "squeeze me in" and get it all done immediately (at 3 in the afternoon)!!When I said that I only wanted to get the oil and filter changed suddenly there wasn't an appointment available for 10 days.When I questioned the Service Advisor and later the Service Manager about the prices, the restrictions on which services they offer, and the false recommendations on services and intervals their excuse was that it was all set by Viva management.

The staff here was unbelievable, my car broke down on my drive home from Texas to Arizona, and they went above and beyond to get me back on the road the same day. I'm happy to say the service department at Viva Toyota is great. I've had a wonderful experience while Michael M. is always sure to answer any questions I have about my vehicle and its needed service. Scheduled maintenance service is always quick and this was the first time I came prepared with my laptop rather than bother with a complementary ride to/from since it usually takes less than 2 hours.

I went here today. We were fortunate that they had a new car available. Before I got there. They ran my credit like I asked. Gave me the pymt thru text. No hassles. It did take some time to get to finance but everyone was nice and friendly. Jamie is a nice salesman. If you need a car or truck give him a call.My review is ONLY for purchasing a vehicle.

Be careful! My family was scammed! Multiple times we before signing we asked if this was a 2025 vehicle. The person from Toyota completing paperwork confirmed yes. After trying to follow car steps the next day, turns out it is a 2024!! Waited all year for the 2025 makes no sense why we would buy a 2024 so close to the 2025 and we made it clear we were in no rush. They even called us leaving a rushed voicemail that new vehicles came in and when we called back we asked 2025 right. My family worked hard labor their entire lives and as older adults purchasing a new vehicle. Truly disgusting behavior. They made sure to leave the 2024 details in small print when completing the ppw and said it is our fault for not reading all the ppw we signed even though we were able to catch the fraud the next day

I had a fantastic experience at Viva Toyota Las Cruces!It the first time I walked into a dealership and bought the first car I saw, a beautiful new hybrid Grand Highlander.This is also the first Toyota, I've owned, and I could be happier. No more Mercedes or BMWs for me.The team I worked with was amazing. I highly recommend Michelle (Shelly) Karl and Christine Villegas.These two ladies made it so easy for me to find and purchase my new car. The process was not stressful in the least. In fact, they were able to get me in and out, in a few hours. AMAZING! I've been recommending anyone that's in the market to give these folks a try. Ruben Z.Stay away from Viva Toyota! I took my 2023 Tacoma Trail Edition for an oil change on Mar 7, 2024. On the next day while driving home from work the front skid plate fell off onto the freeway, I took my Tacoma to Viva Toyota and spoke with Grant, the Customer Service Relations Manager and said, " Your Tacoma had no skid plate when the oil was changed". This was the first oil change for my Taco and I stood by the large roll during the time the Tech was changing the oil and I saw him remove the skat plate. The Customer Service Manager stated, " I have a video showing the Tech did not remove the skid plate to change the oil". I asked to see the video and he said," No you can not see the video and that is the end of it". My advice to all Taco owners take pictures at the dealership before it is driven into the service bay.
