Village Market

Fun place to go for a grocery store. The deli serves ribs and chicken. We enjoyed the pork ribs and a beef rib. You pay by the pound. Prices were reasonable and we got several meals out of it. People were very hospitable.

Awesome small-town grocery store with a deli. The food I've had is mostly BBQ, but they smoke some different things on a daily basis. I'm guessing it's what's left over from the meat department? They smoked some what I would call country ribs which is cut from the pork shoulder. The food is a great value and well prepared. Stop at this place if you're looking for a good, quick meal.

We RV full time and were staying between Hatch and Truth or Consequences, NM. We thought our best choice would be Walmart in TC....NOT. Their produce was not fresh and what we bought we ended up throwing out.Came to Hatch, NM and found this store....awesome eclectic store, well kept and good prices.

Wow! The deli counter at this grocery store is amazing! $1.50 burritos!!! I wish the lady in front of me hadn't taken BOTH of the red chile burritos =( I also wish I hadn't had such a filling meal before getting there. I ordered 1 beef rib and 1 pork rib and oh my...definitely one of THE best bbqs I've had! The beef rib had the bbq sauce nicely caramelized around it. The pork rib was nice and smokey and BOTH were so tender and juicy with meat that just fell off the bones...mmmmm.I should've just bought a bunch of ribs and taken them home with me =d

The Village Market has some GREAT local products and souvenirs in Hatch. The Five Amigos Fire Roasted Peppers Salsa is insane-- some of the best salsa I have ever eaten. Why not pick up some Pecan Pancake Syrup? If you are in Hatch and want a souvenir, go to Village Market and find yourself some great souvenirs that range in price from $3 to $10. I've been very happy with the selection of goodies I picked up here on the way back from to California. PS, it's a grocery store as well ;)

Seriously, what's wrong with the people that work in this store? The cashier's don't hardly speak to the customers at all! Teach these people how to treat your customers.

What a great bunch of folks that work at this little local market. They were having issues with their credit card machine and the manager had just left. They called her and she came right back to assist us and one other customer in the store. Wonderful job!

Visited Village Market in Hatch last week. Not bad for a little store in a little town but the employees need to learn to smile and be friendly to the customers. They seem so complacent in indifferent. Just didn't get a good feeling being there. The success or failure of any business depends a lot on customer service and personable staff.
