Victory Construction is an excellent company to do business with. The company is owned and operated by Victor Saenz. Victor Saenz does an excellent job of communicating and staying in touch with clients. All estimates and work start on time as promised. The work was done quicker than I expected. The work and materials appear to be excellent quality.I hired Victory Construction to replace a roof, turbine, and repair a water damaged ceiling. Apparently they do a little of everything. The roof appears to be better than what it was when it was new. The ceiling was expertly repaired and one can't tell the ceiling was ever repaired. The ceiling came out better than what the way I was told it would come out. I work graveyards so I sleep during the day. The crew was very respectful of the fact that I am a day sleeper and they didn't make any unnecessary noise. They also took measures to protect my property. They covered anything they worked near to avoid damage I would highly recommend using Victory Construction, and I plan on using them again in the future.

We chose Victory Construction for replacement of the shingle roof on our house. They were the only roofing contractor we found who would give us a fixed-price estimate. They did an excellent job on the roof and completed it ahead of schedule. Victor and Ralph were a pleasure to work with. The only thing keeping this review from five stars was a lack of cleanup on the roof. The crew left our yard very clean but left many loose nails on the roof, which would eventually come down onto the driveway or yard. When I pointed this out to Victor he took the feedback very well, and I think he has addressed it with his crew for improvement.

Victory Construction was recommended to repair the stucco around our newly installed windows. They did a terrible job!The workers were very unprofessional. Stucco work around the windows was very uneven and messy. Stucco was slopped onto our brand new windows and screens, our cement patio and our patio chairs. After I cleaned up their mess from the stucco work, the next working day they spilled paint once again onto our new windows and screens. I asked that they use drop clothes and plastic to protect where they worked, but they ignored this request.Every day the workers left their lunch trash on site. They never cleaned up after work each day. After alerting the company that their workers were not very good, it took over two months for the supervisors to inspect the work. Victor agreed that the work was not professional. At least he had the courtesy of not charging us the final payment because the work was so bad!

Victor Saenz, Victory Const., responded to our request for roof repair/estimate. He inspected the roof, told us what he believed was our best option, promised to oversee the work his employees would perform and quoted a cost. We asked several questions concerning warranty, product quality, time & completion. We were pleased with his responses and felt confident enough to sign a contract.I was on my roof several times while work in progress as well as twice since completion. Satisfied with the work & confident of quality. Las Cruces has had several rainy days/nights since completion & have had no further problems with leaks. I am pleased & feel confident in my endorsement of Victory Constructions' work. Thank you Victor & all the crew.C. AlarconLas Cruces, Nm

Victory Construction installed a shower for my dad and brother in March of 2018. Why my brother contacted a roofing company to install a shower I will never know. Victor Saenz did the whole job without pulling any county permits and didn't use a licensed plumber to do any of the plumbing work. When I asked him why, he said it was just a small plumbing job and permits really weren't necessary. An example of their questionable plumbing work I could see was the dryer vent that had to be relocated to accommodate the shower. They ended up cutting several holes in the outside siding of the house. They didn't even install a vent over the hole on the outside of the wall. I have no idea if they plumbed the drain correctly or if the plumbing of the shower is up to code. They told my 92 year old dad he could save some money by ripping out the old tub himself. They still charged him almost $3200 for a job they had no business doing. I own the house and my dad rents it from me but they signed a contract with the renter and not the owner of the property. I live out of state and only found out about the shower after it had already been installed.A week later, Victory Construction poured a 10'x12' concrete pad for my dad and brother. The pad does look nice. However, it appears that Victor Saenz took advantage and charged double the going rate. Victory Construction charged $15 a square foot plus tax for a 3000 PSI 6" slab. I contacted several concrete contractors in the Las Cruces area to find the current rate for a 3000 psi 6" slab. The going rate is $5-$8 per square foot depending on the size of the job. I asked Victor why he charged so much and he indicated it was because it was a small job. I was surprised because the maximum any other contractor charged, even for a small job, was half of what my dad was charged. Victory Construction then contracted to install a 11'x13' cedar gazebo for my dad. This was by far the biggest fiasco of the 3 projects. I was visiting my dad when the crew showed up to do the project. It was obvious they had sent the B team. They didn't have any of the correct tools to do the job and spent most of the day sitting in the shade when the boss left. Their first job was to dig four holes for the corner posts. First of all, they asked to borrow my post hole digger and shovels to dig the holes. It took two guys 2 days to dig 4 30" holes. On the third day they borrowed my wheelbarrow and shovels to mix the concrete. They didn't cleanup the tools afterwards and my brand new shovel still has concrete stuck to the shovel. My wheelbarrow had a flat but they used it anyway and totally ruined the tire. When they finished the job and left two weeks later, the dirt from the corner posts was still sitting there and I was left to clean it up myself. They cut the main support posts incorrectly so there were large gaps they then attempted to fill with slivers of cedar that fell out about a week after they left. The spacing between the joists was variable. Some were 9" apart and others were spaced 11" apart. I pointed it out to them because they were unaware there was a problem. The gazebo is a parallelogram and not a rectangle. so the top lattice work isn't square. Obviously, they failed trigonometry in High School. They purchased the cedar from a local cedar supplier in Las Cruces and paid sales tax when they purchased the raw materials. Obviously, they are not a contractor to be taken seriously. The gazebo was another case where they needed to pull a county permit to build the gazebo because it was larger than 120 square foot but no permit was pulled. I have tried to contact Victor multiple times but he refuses to answer texts or phone calls. I even drove by his business address in an attempt to contact him but only spoke to his wife, Cynthia and asked that Victor contact me. Buyer beware if you do business with Victor Saenz or Victory Construction. He definitely took advantage of an elderly 92 year dad and my brother dying of congestive heart failure.
