Victoria’s SteakHouse and Mexican Grill

I'm a customer who had gone to the westside location and the east side is up to par with victorias west. Food is excellent and worth every penny. Some plates are $18 like the mexicana plate but it is worth every penny. You can go cheaper but you will get less food elsewhere. The atrachera was ordered medium rare and came out as medium which is the temp we wanted so take that into consideration. The meat was overall juicy and tender. They bring out a small sopa (soup) which is a nice touch. The complimentary tostadas are prob not made in house but they're free. The aguas are served in a very large mug and not watered down. Service was excellent. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews. Just check the westside location maybe east side is looking for value and cheap and this isn't it. Note tampiquena steak is from westside location but they have the same quality on the east side.

In the location of the failed Jamaican place that only lasted a few months. Unfortunately, I predict the same fate for this victorias location. It is small and feels more like a cheap Mexican diner than a nice restaurant. Tables and chairs are all mismatched and it's just not inviting. Prices for their steaks are ridiculous! More expensive than Cattleman's, and West TX chophouse. I doubt the quality is anywhere close They serve low grade store tortilla chips, and out of the 3 salsas provided, not a single good one. Got the enchiladas suizas and added an egg on top, they were nothing special, just like hundreds of other little restaurants in the area. Beans tasted a bit burnt, and rice was dry. Add not so friendly service, and one star is being generous.

My husband and I came to this place and we were the only ones in there. We ordered lemonades and the lemonade was super good. We also ordered an arachera burger and we read the menu and we ordered it with no onions, the menu said it contained meat, cheese, avocado, and onions. When I got the burger it looked delicious and as soon as I bit it I was disgusted. The burger had ketchup, mustard and pickles. The meat was super delicious but it was smothered in all these other things that were not on the menu, it instantly ruined the meal for me. I picked at some of the steak and ate the fries, I couldn't bring myself to tell them I didn't want all that other stuff in it. I'm sure it would've been super good without all that crap but I just didn't want to make them remake it.

COME EARLY TO GET ON THE LIST!! We came at 8pm on a Saturday. 2 hour wait. But they allowed us (party of 7). in at closing and served I ordered a Pittsburg style Med Rare steak. (So it looks dark). Steaks were cooked as ordered and tasted great. Furniture was a bit "struggling business" but I think that'll change next quarter.

First. Don't fill up on chips if you order steak. It was actually the size they advertise. I did ribeye. It came with salad, baked potato, onion, pepper and soup. Enough for 2. Meal was expensive as I could have done something less expensive but it tasted very good. Maybe not the best steak of my life but one that was very good. I recommend and will come back again.

Ayer fui , la comida esta super salada Un platillo de $60 no vale la pena !!! El lugar esta super basico , no habia ni musica se oia todo lo que uno platicaba , si van a gastar $60 por un plato mil veces vallan al great American, Texas Roadhouse y aun asi va estar mas barato. Que aqui

Way overly priced, no fountain drinks just cans or tea, atmosphere was off. Restaurant in shopping center tables wobbly, staff was friendly but in regular clothes vs uniforms, I don't mind that but for $55 steak and $20 fish you need to up your game. Would not recommend. Spent $200 for 4 adults and a child.

Came here for lunch around 1230p. No wait. Service was great and attentive. Our table of 4 was checked on periodically and appropriately. Food was great but even better was the service size. For less than 12-15 dollars I got the Mexican plate and it ended up being 3 meals for me as I took some food home. Same with others in my party. The atmosphere was great. I'll be coming back here again.

This place is small and simple, but the food is excellent. We had a party of 11 and stuffed ourselves with appetizers, steak and good eats. We recommend this small steakhouse on the east side.

Food was good , large portions . Will be going back . Service was great . Ambiance was good as well !!
