Valley Supermarket

This place is so underrated! I have to share how awesome this neighborhood market is, first it has an amazing cafe inside the market, this is now our designated Saturday morning breakfast place, the menudo and breakfast burritos are excellent and the service is great! The market is chock full of Mexican groceries with a fabulous meat market and bakery! So delicious with great service! Enjoy!

Do not buy pan dulce there it's old hard and disgusting they should be embarrassed to even display it

OMG!! The carnitas! So good! They have the crispy edges I want in carnitas. The rice, beans and red tamales are also so good. Very much the flavors you'd find from a beloved grandma's home cooking. So delicious. I have yet to find carnitas that good from a local restaurant.

I like this meat market (as I call it) small but very friendly employees in the kitchen and checkout, also the bakery. Bread is very good and the price per piece of bread is reasonable. I can also get Mexican squash that is of a way better quality compared to Walmart where it turns black after a couple of days. I liked buy my cilantro and chicharron for frijoles charros here also. If your looking for Mexican chips they have Sabritas and Cheetos like the colmillos. If you like to use Dulce de pilloncillo this is where I prefer to buy mine. I think my only concern is a lot flies when you sit down to eat .

Just a little grocery shop on the westside. Any place that sells real tortillas (not that mass produced American crap that is so thick you can't even taste anything rolled inside) is golden in my eyes. Valley Supermarket has a couple of different brands of tortillas, some produce, a few other products, a butcher section and some hot food available. It's no Pro Ranch Market, but it gets the job done.

We have been going to this location for several years to purchase MENUDO, but yesterday's MENDO was the worst we've ever had . it was extremely greasy and had about 5 pieces of meat and about 2 teaspoons of hominy!! We actually used a strainer!! We asked for MENUDO and paid for it; however we were SOLD MENUDO SOUP!! EXTREMELY unsatisfactory! We will NOT BE GOING back whatsoever EXTREMELY UNSATISFACTORY!!!!!

Menudo today was super gross. Literally like 4 pieces of hominy and all the meat was pata. Had ordered one large to go. It was so greasy. I went and got it around 9:45 am so it wasn't late in the day which would explain getting the last bits. Waste of money since it went in the garbage. Had to make scrambled egg at home and ate the bread. I was used to going there for convenience, but will find somewhere else for next time.

Decent prices and good meat. This store has all the essentials for a carne asada sesh

This place was our go to for menudo and bolillos and we enjoyed it for years.Lately though, we are very disappointed with the quality being offered. Menudo had very little meat and bolillos have been bland.I hope they step it up soon or we may have to find another place.
