I gotta say I love these small family businesses in these small border towns. My buddy Beto had me stop in here for some of their fresh chicharrones to go with the fresh bread and cheese we had just gotten from Lichon Dairy. We got there just before they were getting them out of the fryer and man they smelled great. We bought a bag of them steaming hot sliced up some cheese and put it on fresh bread for a fantastic sandwich. Next time I am in the area I will def try their burritos. Folks running the place were very nice and easy to communicate with even if you don't speak spanish.

I didn't grow up with Mexican food, so I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. I'm probably not even an intermediate, but I do love these tortillas. I make a special trip here a couple times a month to pick up tortillas and a chili relleno burrito (theirs is delicious!) The tortillas are soft with just the right amount of saltiness for my tastes, and every burrito I've tried has been well seasoned and textured. I've been a couple times where there haven't been any English speakers available, but they managed to navigate both my southern accent and monolingual English so don't let that put you off :) oh, they don't accept credit cards tho, so make sure you have cash!

The tamales are very good but very expensive, about $15 a dozen. Good luck trying to get some. They either run out or are too lazy to make enough. Best thing is to call ahead. The other food I've tried is not that good.

These tortillas are perfect. They are soft and chewy, yet somehow retain that delicious dusty texture. It has forced me to rethink what I thought I knew a burrito was.

This place is an eye sore when you firstlook at it, but I don't say it as an insult due to the fact that I'm from here. No longer living here I make it a point to come an enjoy great tortillas and awesome burritos. I like the lengua "tongue" burritos. The Chile Rellenos are a must. You can taste the love they put into making them. 2$ for a good size burrito is hard to beat. I just wished I could find them like this in Dallas. Go and try this place.

Very friendly owner made great recommendations and I had beef and pork burritos. Both were excellent. If your looking for a flavorful experience and not afraid of the way this place looks definitely come here!

This place has the best tortillas in town! The burritos and chicharrón are 100%, the asado one on top of the list.
