US Post Office

Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever had, and no help what so ever. Just moved down here and had to go get a package that they would not deliver and said to pick up...welp still didn't get the package but I did get a disrespectful older lady that doesn't know how to talk to people. I think yall need new office workers.

I've visited this post office on multiple occasions because it's the closest to me. Several times, there was a line, but it moved quickly. The staff has always been extremely friendly.

Moved from out of state in September of 2021 and started getting mail here via a PO BOX. Since coming here, I no longer dread going to the post office. This is a small office in our very small town of Vail and the staff has always been friendly, helpful, and quick with their service. You are in and out in no time at all. I frequent this office because I ship a lot of items to my four grown children (3 sons are all active USAF) who live all over the globe. Thank you to the staff (a gentleman and young lady) who are always friendly.

I have gone there a couple of times because this is the nearest post office in my place. And yeah, I thought I was the only one that got mad after delivering my packages, but after reading all these comments here, I am not alone. I own a small business and sell my handmade concrete products through Etsy. I wrap my products with two bubble wraps and two boxes and ensure it doesn't shake. Previously, I asked the guy with the beard if they could just put a fragile stamp on my boxes, and he said I should have a sticker on it, but he still put a fragile stamp because I didn't go home until I saw that he stamped on it. Then, next week I have a couple of boxes too, and I managed to put a fragile sticker on each box. And man, I wonder if their hands are too heavy that they cannot lift my 1lb box properly. The blond female and the same guy didn't care about handling the package like they didn't care about their job. And the last thing I saw was the guy dropping the box in the cart like a piece of trash. With a heavy heart, I just left the office. And today, I got an email and message from the buyer that the pots arrived broken. I handle my packages carefully and treat them like a gift to every buyer. Seeing other people just throwing it away is hard. I hope to find a better post office.

Been Having major major problems with mail coming into Vail Az. I finally got my address straightened up after too many tries. Mail is addressed correctly and gets returned to sender saying no forwarding address after I've been here over a month. The postal service straightened it up, I thought. So now my wife's mail is getting retired saying the same thing. This is bullshit and that's why they have one star. Worse experience I ever had. And they want to raise rates! Get the shit taken care of.

Usually I have no problem with this Post Office; however; I was expecting a very important letter sent Priority Mail 4/20/17 and as of this morning 4/21/17 it still hasn't arrived. I'm thoroughly disappointed. According to the USPS tracking, it was picked up in Tucson at 7:35 am yesterday (4/20/17) why in the heck wasn't it delivered yesterday, I live in Vail, it's not that darn far. Our mail is always delivered extremely late as well.

Just moved to Vail and had to go to this post office to pick up a package they wouldn't deliver. Hands down the rudest people I've ever dealt with. I have never dealt with such disrespectful, uncourteous people in my life. They need to fire them all and start over with a better class of people.

Yesterday I waited on hold FOR THIRTY MINUTES with the National line to just to get the phone number for this location because they mis-delivered important certified mail to my neighbor, who returned it and notified me. Repeatedly attempted to dial the number over two hours and never once reached a human being. Called the national line again and was on the phone for 40 minutes to request that they directly connect me to a person at that location and they said they are incapable of doing so. My post office is 20 minutes from my house and with the price of gas I shouldn't be expected to have to drive 40 minutes round-trip so they will deliver my mail to me. Tried again today to reach them and am still not getting anyone to answer. There is no voicemail either, so there's nothing I can do. I am forced to waste gas and my time to go confront these morons and ask them to simply do their job.

Believe all the 1-Star reviews. I travel the country in a motorhome and have my hometown mail collected by a neighbor and then forwarded to the local post office wherever I am via "General Delivery" when I called to verify that they accept general delivery, they sounded like they had no idea what I was talking about and first told me I had to fill out a form to except general delivery and then told me I had to send a change of address to exceptional delivery. I'm not happy with the Vail post office at all. They close at 4????? Who can do anything at the post office during the week when you close at 4? Oh you can do it on Saturday....but they only give you a few hours to get there before closing, again, extremely early! And I asked why they decided to close at 4 from the already early 430, and they said the public requested it!!! Haha lol yeah right! Yeah that makes sense, we want LESS time to get there. Right. So stupid. Who in their right mind would request less time to get to the post office during the week? I swear, these people work a very very short week, JESUS.
