US Post Office

My mail has NEVER been forwarded to me after 3 requests and 8 MONTHS!!! Completely inept employees.

Response to other complaints 1) No website is "affiliated" with the Post Office, or this location except for usps.gov which lists the closing time as 5pm (next time check the usps site, not some random website, js). 2) The phone rings and rings because the only person to "man" the phones is a supervisor and they are usually busy with customers or managing carrier routes. Try calling 1-800-ask-usps. There you can talk to a customer service representative and expect a 24-36 hr response from your local post office for local issues. Otherwise you may be able to get hold of a supervisor before 8am, after 5pm, or on Saturdays. 3) The main post office is nowhere near City Hall. It used to be across the street from City Hall, but that was moved several years ago to Motel Blvd. 4) There is a package mailing kiosk in the Main post office lobby that will take your package, payment, and give you a receipt. Overall, I'd say that the main post office is ok.

Closes at 5pm not 6m like advertised on every webpage affiliated with them. This was a Huge disappointment as I could of left work earlier.

I have had no mail delivery in the last 5 weeks except for 1 Amazon package after Christmas. I am expecting something important in the mail . The post office is leaving their phone off the hook.

Ive called the post office for days, and it rings and rings....Why doesn't anyone answer the phone?

This is the Main Post office of Las Cruces. It's close to City Hall and it can get busy. Plenty of parking. Lots of retail merchandise like cards.

General delivery pkg signed by usps on a Friday morning. Was told to return Saturday to pick it up. I was there for a full hour Saturday before I finally was helped by the only employee willing to locate my pkg. Thank you Alfredo. The other two weren't concerned and just left me standing there waiting. They continued to assist others but weren't willing to help me by looking for it. I had a previous poor experience with a package here the week before.

We came here because the post office lost our package. The shipping tracker said it had been delivered but it wasn't in the mailbox. I called and went down there and they looked but couldn't find anything and then told us to file a claim. It ended up OK because it magically appeared in our mailbox, but it was a stressful experience. I did appreciate everyone looking so many times though.

I have always felt welcome here and the staff are really nice and understanding carring! Thank you for help me guys. I appreciate you all.

I dont live at a clusterbox, or the managers office thats why i ALWAYS get tracker updates by txt. This is the 4th time the update didn't let me know that the pkg was at complex (Mgr Ofc) for delivery. What's goin on lately?!There are others here whom have had same problem. I know we are the last stop on the route... the postman knows the mgr ofc is closed on the weekend. So wheres our updates?
